If you have not previously listened to Incubus SCIENCE, Toadies Rubberneck, or Halestom In The Strange Case Of... those would be my suggestions. In that order. So if multiple fit and your 2 picks are different than just pick whichever one I listed first.

So I was in a pretty cranky mood this morning.  All this gosh darn #### going on in the world right now, on top of issues in my family, and I generally feel pretty strung out.  Tried some calmer music to start, but it just wasn't helping and if anything, making me even more agitated.  So I needed to get a hardcore fix.  And as I wandered through Spotify populating my list, I come to Pantera and start playing Walk.  god this riff is so good.  And I keep moving through the album and it is just totally giving me what I need to even out.  This album is great because it flows in and out of several metal styles and the thrash and groove is just what I like.  I don't mind super-heavy stuff, but Pantera seems to step right to the line of heaviness that I like for repeat listenability.  :headbang:

Sorry for being mostly absent the past day or two, works been a B. Time for some catchup. 
 

Since I’m running out of ideas here, my strategy for most of my last few picks are to find albums with 4-5 songs I like, with at least 2 that are Playlist Worthy. Sorry for people randomly having to listen to the full albums for future shtick purposes. Yo Mama selects:

Sounds good, the first 2 I have peripheral knowledge of, and not sure if I have heard of Halestorm.  

I wrote down 5 others I am going to decide between, including a could of your early picks that I am not sure how well I actually know.   I will start on something tonight.  

I see you doubled up on Tool with 10,000 Days.  I had Right in Two come up on a shuffle this am, but didn't see what else you took.   I've become obsessed with Rosetta Stoned after watching the vids of the guy doing the Dany Carey covers that I posted before.  That song is nuts.

Love it.  I had it written down a couple rounds and was eying it up for the 50th, but I guess I don't need to bother.  Walk would have for sure been a selection.  That brings back memories of HS swim team, as that was one of my "pump up" songs I listened to before meets.  

 
Oops, I forgot I already took a 47th rounder. I guess if anyone really wants temper trap Before 7pm est (lol) they can have it. Otherwise I’m done.

Jon Spencer Blues Exlosion drummer and producer puts out a solo record... has a bunch of that Beck beat to it, but rocks more. listened to this thing non-stop and while I had a couple of tunes packed away for regular relisten (posted above), had forgotten how many I like throughout.

I debated between Vicarious and The Pot, but given the events of the weekend of June 1 (when I made the pick) I veered towards the former. While I have added some cuts I didn't expect to be popular from other albums I opted against adding Rosetta Stoned because of it's length. Ill #### with someone's ears for 3 minutes, but 11 just seems cruel!

 
I haven't caught up on the last couple pages but in honour of round 50 (and not at all because my wife is studying for a test tomorrow for a course she's taking), I'm thinking of drinking ten beers and shuffling through songs and albums all night.

I didnt realize it was available, but when @Hov34 said he only had 5 picked and I remembered one was live process of elimination- I knew we missed one so I went searching for whichever one it was and threw it a life raft.

49.21 Aaliyah - One in a Million

(1996)

first off I still get incredibly sad when I think of how old she was and how she went. She was such a talent and I still remember when she hit the scene in her baggy clothes singin "two A's L I Y A H." This one came a couple years later when she was all of 17 yrs old. Many consider her self titled her best, but I'll take this one. Timbaland and a then not so well known Missy appeared on this and marked a point where r&b was growing out of the early 90s new jack swing stuff. This one was a little smoother than most of its contemporaries and Aaliyah's talent was evident. I've seen this classified as neo-soul and i guess there's some overlap there but I consider it r&b.adding some r&b and perhaps my favorite female artist in the penultimate round.

It's my second favourite of their albums and contains my favourite song of theirs, which probably ranks somewhere near my top 20 or so songs ever (Don't Change), so I am very happy I double checked and that it it still on the board. I'm calling it a steal but maybe no one likes this one. In any case, it's early enough in their career that it still has a nice mix of post-punk and new wave.

Before I make my last pick, just wanted to thank those who kept the list up to date, as well as those who made the thread worth keeping up with on Friday and Saturday nights. It was unfortunate that I learned I actually don't celebrate The Smithereens' entire catalog, but I had fun anyway.

Also, I don't think I'll have it in me to do another music/album draft, but I'll be spectating.

I have to admit feeling a little shame for not getting something 'religious' on my list, since I still consider myself at least a believer in Jesus Christ, but a 'perfect' pick came to me just about an hour ago:

Jesus Freak -DC Talk (1995)

Don't worry, there's nothing 'preachy' here. My song choices, What if I Stumble and Between You and Me (this one actually got some love on secular radio for a brief period), are actually a departure from their more rock/hip-hop/rap stylings, and I would also recommend giving their take on the old Godspell song Day By Day a spin.

Well, bummer. Apparently most of Aaliyah's music is not available on streaming services because something to do with her uncle owning and possibly selling the rights idk.

So I added 4 Page Letter since it was the only song off one in a million I could find. I also added are you that somebody because it's a really good song but only available on the Dr Doolittle soundtrack. Feel free to remove it if that's breaking the rules. And feel free claim it if you take the Dr Doolittle soundtrack

Pick 50 is a record that was released 41 years ago today, an all time favorite and the reason I waited and did not pick earlier was Nick Lowe was part of the supergroup Rockpile (With Dave Edmunds) which I picked earlier, I thought I had my Nick bases covered, but after playing this again today on the anniversary, I realized how much this record has meant to me over the years.... I have tried to not double dip any artists, only Richard Thompson solo (I picked the R&L debut) and now this Nick solo record.

It’s been fun, and I could go 50 more easy...

Another one from 1979! A very popular year for me... I was 14 at the time, but didn’t catch these records until 4-5 years later, a great year for tunes!
