5.e - Eddie & The Hot Rods - Do Anything You Wanna Do

My editorial comment on today's rules discussions

It never ends lol.
So under R?
They are best known for their 1977 UK top ten hit "Do Anything You Wanna Do", released under the shortened name Rods.

G - Guns N' Roses - Crash Diet

THE unreleased and notorious. This was Guns N' Roses at their sleaziest best.

Now tears in my eyes "Baby please don't go"
You had one too many having one for the road
Fresh from detox fresh from jail
Took your rehabilitation and it drove me to hell
Drink and drive white lightning faster --- your last drive

Ok. This is one confusing release.
Eddie is either some doll they had as a stage prop or the managers first name, Ed Hollis, brother of Talk Talk singer Mark Hollis.
Of course Ed Hollis worked with ****ing Elvis Costello.

Eddie and the Hot Rods clearly belongs under E.

Where is the confusion nobody asks? This song was released in the UK under the moniker the Rods...Ive seen the vinyl rekease and it clearly states “The Rods”. This was a marketing effort during Punk to make the name fit within the times.
That said the French vinyl release and I believe International said it was Eddie and the Hot Rods. Good enough for a solid argument of including it under E.
Further that argument is the 74 compilation, live and assorted releases that place the song as Eddie and the Hot Rods.

Up to @Eephus whether he wants it under E or R. It is a rare release that is eligible for both.

I would be SHOCKED if he wanted it under R, lol.

Back to draft order 3 up at a time
If this is a poll, I vote for return to draft order, but I’m not running anything and I’m around most of the time so it’s easy for me to say.

same - I'll be here most of the time, but not in the early CST morning always - and I will be traveling at some point for a few days - but will help alert people when it's their turn when I'm around
