By the way, I tried to hint to you that you should steal Van the other day, and now you can't, but maybe you were going in another direction. Speaking of weather, it was raining cats and dogs here yesterday and especially last night. My son is a senior in high school and is one of the last five in a "Senior Assassin" contest. You have a week to get your target with a squirt gun and video evidence, but it has to be off of school grounds. You are also safe at work or in cars. Whenever he leaves or returns to our house, I go out and scan the bushes, roof and trees for a shooter. He has two doors at work and he has had some epic escapes already.
Yesterday afternoon when he returned home, I caught a kid in the yard waiting creeping towards the car when my son returned home. He had people with walkies parked around the neighborhood waiting to alert him. He was mad I found him, and he was soaked, but we had a laugh. We were very careful the rest of the day as I was convinced he would take another shot.
My son went to a party at night, and the rain was especially heavy. He returned at 1am and called me to come scan. He said don't bother as there is no way this kid has been out here for hours and he deserves to win if so. I had a feeling so I ran out quick to look and make sure the door was open to run into. Just as I opened the door, my kid was sprinting up one side of the driveway and I saw the kid emerge like Rambo from the other side bushes and start running towards me. It was a race.
My kid dove through the door a second before the kid got the shot off and I closed it. He was safe. We talked to the kid through the window and he was standing there for like four hours. And he's a Lakers fan, lol. My son is actually deciding to just let the kid get him out of respect at this point. Crazy night. My kid is hela fast, and that kid was hela wet lol.
