I forgot to mention my jukebox theme.  I'm going for songs to drive to on the open road- the kind where your speed creeps up without you noticing it.

I avoided anything to political or thoughtful.  If you want to drink alone in the dark, find another bar.

I have off tonight and tomorrow - I should be able to Spotify Mrs.R's list and a few others who might want me to.

Looks like the list by drafter on the google sheet isn't completed.  If someone wants me to Spotify their list, could they post their draft like Mrs.R did and I can enter it in that way?  Would like to do Fidddles' as well, but not sure if he posted his song list.  Too much of a jumble with all the mulligans and whatnot the last few days - don't want Acer or whoever to update that spreadsheet. I don't think it's worth that.

@Uruk-Hai

Digging the Plant-Krauss tune

ETA: Whoa, had to turn off the next song. Def not suitable for middle scool

That whole album is pretty good, but I'd listen to Krauss sing anything.

Sorry about the NSFW surprise. Was it the Buckcherry song?
Yes, it was. Not your fault. Just thought as it was playing, probably dont want the principle walking by right now. Just turned it off, No worries

I haven't had time to devote a solid three hours to one playlist, so I did a "pub crawl" last night and sampled bits and pieces of the linked playlists.  I found lots of stuff to enjoy on all of them.  I'm probably going to continue in the same vein until I get some time after this weekend (sorry, Scrappygang's first birthday party, wife is treating it like we're hosting the Oscars).

I listed to RHE's jukebox for about 90 minutes last night.  It was a pretty aggressive choice for a quiet Monday night but I learned that dogs don't understand moshing.

Listened to the Spotify lists in the OP over the weekend. I was a little disappointed Acer didn't have Avicii as part of his playlist. Songs I added to my collection based on their lists:

Simey:

Round and Round & Torn - know both of the songs just didn't own them.

Ramsay:

Kiss with a Fist - never heard the song, wasn't familiar with the band so this is a great find.

Acer

Burnin For You - Thought I already had it in my collection just hadn't heard it in forever - I was wrong. So that was promptly added.

Uruk

One - I have a NIN cover by Cash but not this one.

  to you guys for some great playlists. Now if the other 20+ people would get their list in the OP....
Just finished KP's list. I really enjoyed the entire mix and didn't have the urge to skip anything. I found his Pink Floyd choice humorous. I used to occasionally shoot pool at a bar whose clientele often leaned more towards the country western side of things. As mentioned, I really have a genetic predisposition for disliking country. So, the first thing I would do was queue up Dogs on their internet jukebox for 5-6 consecutive plays which locked down the jukebox for over an hour. IMO, a couple of dollars well spent. Watching inebriated people get pissed at the jukebox was icing on the cake. Got introduced to another gem on KP's list: Cocoon. Didn't know the song, didn't know the band but it is a fantastic song. Up next: Tasker.

Glad you liked it - thanks for listening.

Buddy and I would do a similar thing.  Liked Zilla joked, tried to get the money's worth.  Floyd, Paranoid Android, Zeppelin - basically any song approaching 10mins that we could find and eat up an hour of the jukebox for a little money.  Never seemed to go over very well.

I got to Mrs. R's playlist:

There were 2 that I couldn't find, and I had to do a cover band for Hollywood Nights.

Isn't that only 48 tunes?

Hm, the link to the list that Marco so nicely made for me isn't working.  I'll attempt to reconstitute.

This one seems to work.  Sorry, AA.

ETA:  The link in the OP to your mix works for me, though. Not sure why it's not working for you. Anyone else try that link?
