Did FBG opt out of Rapid Draft for 2010? (1 Viewer)

I've been checking out the new RapidDraft site for this year and FBG does not appear to be sponsoring a "Pro". Are you guys opting out for 2010?

It looks like Joe Namath replaced you guys!!

It was awesome to have Footballguys involved in the inaugural season of RapidDraft last year. Now that they're hosting their own game, though, it doesn't make as much sense for us to partner on a separate contest.

The Slick Willie character that was FBG's last year is now backed by DraftSharks.com and Lenny Pappano, a very experienced and respected fantasy football expert in his own right (and WCOFF co-founder).

Is that an endorsement? Just jokes.

Ha. Yeah, but I only allow it in press releases if I get paid.

You can enter 60 teams this year for free. That's going to be a clusterfark and I bet they have a lot of duplicate rosters during the playoffs.

How can that be? Who's going to pay for a team if you can get 60 for free. Kind of makes it a money losing proposition.

All teams are free this year. No need to worry about the viability. The company has been around (and paying out) since 1993. I'm obviously biased, but there's no real reason not to play. The absolute worst you get from the deal is some mock drafting that is better than what you'll find at Yahoo! or NFL.com.
