Curious as an existing league I joined this year doesn't allow for players who are dropped mid-week to be picked up until the waiver wire the following week. Every league I've been in before has allowed for these dropped players to be picked up later in the week with a waiver claim. Perhaps I should have worded this differently, as people might not consider it an official second waiver run. But do players dropped during the first waiver wire go back on the wire to be available that same week in your leagues?

Most of my leagues lock dropped players for 24 or 48 hours giving time for waiver submissions.

One league does FCFS for dropped players. I despise that format.

We do blind bidding on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 6pm. Then it's open free agency after the Thursday night game.

Ridiculously easy to collude too, unless everyone is trustworthy and reliable.

"Im gonna drop this guy at 7:37PM..make sure you're on to pick him up.  Then send him back next week after your bye..we can work out the time later."

I've played in leagues that had free agency run through games.  I disliked it, but it also advantaged me as one of the only members with time tomsit at my computer most Sunday afternoons.  I dont think I'd ever play in one where dropped players were instantly available though.

Initial waivers run Wednesday morning. Additional waivers run Thurs., Fri., Sat. & Sun. for dropped players. Or guys can wait 24 hours for the dropped player(s) to clear waivers and use FCFS to add them.

No.  Every league I've been in for the last 20 years has always had all dropped players go thru waivers the following week.  Only time I really see leagues do a "waivers per player" is on Yahoo or something.
