It's been a while since we had a music draft so I'm gauging interest/availability for a quick song draft. The proposed theme is Dead Rock Stars which requires some disclaimers up front:
3 singers
2 guitar
1 rapper (double dipping allowed)
1 bass (double dipping allowed)
1 drum
1 keyboard
1 other instrument (e.g. horns, harmonica, didgeridoo)
1 composer/songwriter
and would prefer to draft artist/song rather than just artist so we can do mixtapes. I think the collaborative playlists in Genrepalooza worked out well but that's open for discussion, as is everything else.
Rules are pretty straightforward:

- This is intended as a tribute, not some ghoulish exercise so mods please don't nuke the thread
- Drafting of non-rock artists is encouraged but "dead musicians" doesn't roll off the tongue as easily.

Rules are pretty straightforward:
- Artist must be deceased, bleedin' demised, shuffled off the mortal coil, etc.
- Artist can be drafted only once in a given category EXCEPT FOR RAPPERS & BASS PLAYERS where optional double dipping is allowed.
- Bands with more than one dead person may be drafted multiple times in a category. For example, we could have different Beatles songs in the singer category for George and John (but not a song that Ringo or Paul sang).
- Artist may be drafted in multiple categories if they qualify. For example, Prince could technically be drafted in every category (except he's a terrible rapper)
