Contending team relying heavily on Joe Burrow (and Chase, too, FWIW). Contemplating adding Jake Browning as insurance, but it would mean having to drop Anthony Richardson (in the last year of his 3-year, $1 rookie contract) to open a roster spot. Are we comfortable giving up on this guy at 23 years old? Could almost certainly re-sign him next year for another 3-year, $1/year deal if we think there could still be something there...

Think about what the offense would be like with Browning running the plays? What are your competitive chances? If AR reacquiring his QB starting role, his ceiling is much more attune to a run for the title than Browning at the helm of your roster.

I do like the idea of adding Browning. He showed well previously in his past starts back in 2023. I would not drop AR but if Burrow gets hurt everyone will be adding Browning.

Is there a chance you can trade Richardson to the Daniel Jones owner in a 2 for 1 deal to open up a spot? It sounds like this is an auction type dynasty/keeper league?

OR - why do you have to drop AR - do you have a WR3 that you won't even know when to start clogging your roster? Maybe drop your end of the bench WR or TE to pick up Browning? It gets trick with auction contracts but maybe you can do some roster shuffling/cuts/trades to open up a spot.

Any 2 for 1 deals could make this work but gets tricky in auctions with contracts.

George Holani? My man beat out Damien Martinez for RB3 in Seattle. No thread that I can tell. Should he have one and should I toss him onto the end of a couple deep rosters?

If this is the last year you can keep AR, I'm comfortable dropping him like this. If you're able to retain him on a new contract after 2025, I'd probably keep him. IMO, the lightbulb comes on later this year or never at all.

Value check on Nix these days? I've been hunting shares of Odunze lately and was offered this recently in a 1QB league:

Give Nix + Addision
Get Caleb + Odunze

Neither Nix nor Caleb would be my QB1 as I have Mahomes and Darnold, but I'm hesitating on the Nix valuation.

IMO, the value is even, or just about. Given that, I advise following your heart & have fun!

Nix is like QB6 in KTC. And Caleb might somehow wind up being the worst of his draft class. But if you have a chance to grab Odunze, then I would do that deal. Addison is always going to be a borderline WR2. He doesn't have the physical build to be an alpha, whereas Odunze (even though I was never sold) has the body and speed to do it. The question is can he put it together and can Caleb then get him the ball?

I don't know. I can see your hesitation, but somehow Odunze's upside gets me to hit the accept button on that one.
