My draft pauses for a few weeks after each round.

What a rage-inducing way to draft.

I wonder what the reasoning is? I would hate that.

It's the only dynasty league I've ever been in that does it and I honestly kind of like it. It gives a little bit of time for some of the mid round guys to unearth with a few extra weeks of offseason/camp news.

Judkins. Where do we value him with this stuff in terms of rookie pick? He's obviously probably going to be behind the 5 RBs, top 2 WR, top 2 TE. Is he a late 1st or slides behind more RB like even Skattebo in round 2 now?

Today I'd put him as RB6 and overall 11.

Was RB4 and overall 6.

Playing out some scenarios.

If I knew for sure that he was going to get 6 games to start the season, no commissioner exempt list, then I'd move him back to where I had him before.

If I knew for sure he was going to miss the entire season he'd still be RB6, depending on the team would move down as low as overall 13.

What can be intrusive is spreading it out with weeks between rounds. More chances it gets in the way of someone’s vacation. When you schedule a draft on a certain date, starting it, and finishing it, people can schedule their vacations easier. But if it is good for your league, that’s all that matters. I just know I wouldn’t do it in the leagues I commish.

When you schedule a draft on a certain date, starting it, and finishing it, people can schedule their vacations easier. But if it is good for your league, that’s all that matters. I just know I wouldn’t do it in the leagues I commish.

Well, there is this thing called a Smart Phone

Wouldn't be a big fan of it myself, but as long as it's a slow draft, I would think most people can handle it even on vacation. Not like it takes hours to make a decision.

Wouldn't be a big fan of it myself, but as long as it's a slow draft, I would think most people can handle it even on vacation. Not like it takes hours to make a decision.

And yeah, rostering knuckleheads is not my favorite thing. And this team already has Rashee Rice.

Wonder if AB is a FA? I could add him as a good luck charm.

Yeah, Pickens makes the most sensational catches on a regular basis, and having a guy like that on your team as you watch him play is

Agreed. JJ to Chase is a slight slight upgrade, perhaps a push.
Jeanty to KW3 is a huge downgrade imho and not worth the gains from Brooks to Judkins.

Looks like it is unanimous. I saw JJ to Chase as an upgrade that wasn’t insignificant and I am also bullish on KW3. But losing 3 years at RB is a big deal. I would have certainly done this before the Judkins mess, for what it’s worth.

Yeah, for the suggested deal I was looking at it from a pure value perspective.

I feel like Jeanty is worth more the Judkins+KW, especially in light of the DV issues.

Since I have Chase & JJ at roughly the same value, I don’t love the deal.

He, BJT, Davante, and Ladd weren’t having it, but Chase now has Higgins again (who got paid and will be more 1B) as opposed to Jefferson who now has McCarthy, that pass-happy coach, and is undisputed 1.

But…I appreciate the feedback. This trade is not the way. Upgrading to chase or taking a flyer on judkins doesn’t need to come at the cost of Jeanty.

Small sample size but Chase's 3 worst fantasy games were ones without Higgins in the lineup: week 1, 2, & 9 avg about 10PPG. He had a good fantasy game in week 8 (9 for 58 & 1TD) and an absolute monster, best game of the year in week 10 (11 for 264 & 3TD's against the Ravens.)

Oh yeah I don't think I would make either offers. Chase is a higher in my estimate but for dynasty, I don't think the expense it would cost to upgrade from JJ to Chase is worth it. Anyone turning down Rice and 2 firsts to fo from Chase to JJ is insane though.

It is a good value but when you have a superstud like Chase it's hard to part ways. Also if he is thinking he's in win now mode then the trade does hurt that.

(Lack of) college competition, size, no official 40 times. I prefer prototypical sized RBs like Hampton. Yes, he played well vs the 3 top teams he played against, but I just have to wonder how he would have faired in the SEC vs real competition every Saturday. That kind of wear takes it's toll for better or worse.
