Have we seen enough from Baker tonight that he can start doing commercials again?
I'd prefer not but, while there were other compelling stories, he's clearly the Comeback Player Of The Year
PFF gave their CB POY to Damar Hamlin, ya know, cuz he died last year.
You kind of have to come back and actually play though. No?
When they dedicate the stadium ambulance, the Hambulance, if you will, in your honor, you are literally the comeback player of the year.
With that logic, Dak is a shoe in next season after his untimely demise yesterday.
It’s not my logic, it is the universe.
It was a Dak joke.

Maybe Damar Hamlin could earn it next year, if he plays, but how they can give comeback PLAYer of the year to a player that doesn't play in that year the award is so wrong.
Special teams counts as playing.

Its the most significant comeback. Mayfield had a solid bounce back year, but what he came back from is sucking at football in Carolina. Its just not as big a deal.

Frankly if you are just going by on field contribution, I think Stafford>Mayfield anyway. But Hamlin is more significant than both.

I've never seen an Eagles team just straight up quit. They were battle tested. They fought back in so many games. First Dallas game, KC, Buffalo. The niners beat the crap out of them and they were just done. They packed it in. I've never seen it before. Even the Kotite 7-2 to 7-9 wasn't this bad. They tried they just weren't good. This team straight up ****ing quit.

i'm usually the last guy to want coaches fired. I believe in continuity and patience sometimes. But if a coach loses the locker room, if the team quits on him, if the fight is gone... coach gotta go.

I think it was more after the Seahawks game. were winning 59 minutes out of that game off of short rest across the country, and did everything but go belly up the last 2 minutes of the game. Not really sure who is to blame, but I think it is close to everybody.

Kelce looking like he is retiring too. Eagles are in trouble relying on Jergens at center next year
