***EPL 2018-19 Fantasy League*** Draft Done - Waivers run on Wednesday (1 Viewer)

Same #### every year.

@The Gator and I fight for all the Liverpool players

@Sinn Fein and @Poke_4_Life take turns selecting Spurs players that will largely be inconsequential.

@Christo blames work for holding up the draft while secretly checking in constantly and thinking it's funny while everyone complains about it all while others hold up the draft just as much at 2am.

We are getting close to the point where we start drafting players already drafted, listening to Christo remind us who hasn't paid yet on a regular basis until disappearing when he has to pick again, and the always early goalkeeper/transfer rumor run.

At least this year we have stinking ref popping in for no reason at all and no Chelsea players getting drafted so there's that.

Chelsea dysfunction is wreaking havoc on fantasy drafts this summer. I won't spotlight, but everyone can see the crazy rumors out there.

Truth be told, I am banking on Chelsea refusing to deal this summer given the short turn around after the World Cup until the transfer deadline day - but I am sure they are busy trying to line up all sorts of contingencies over the next 3 weeks.

It is rather odd situation all around - in real life and fantasy.  Just thinking fantasy-wise - trying to figure out how Sarri will set up relative to Conte, and transfer rumors, and ownership issues, and you have questions at virtually every position - I don't think I could come close to guessing a starting XI right now.

Historically, for better or for worse, they have always accommodated their wantaway players, even if selling to a rival or at fire sale prices.  Sometimes I wish the club would put up a bit more of a fight as Liverpool have done several times in recent years.  That said, there's nothing but rumors with the Chelsea players and targets so far, other than one confirmed purchase of Jorginho. Its all just a fart in the wind until you see them holding up the shirt.

Andrew Robertson, D, Liverpool

ETA -- Got him last year shortly after he was starting and he was my favorite player in my lineup. With an improved defense, I'm hoping he can keep it up. I'd be more pissed about not getting him than taking him much earlier than I need to.
