i know dudes got burned with Hill week 1, but what are people thinking about austin davis vs. the bucs? his stats looked good in relief. anyone see the game?

Derek Anderson had a good game against the Bucs, with arguably worse targets. Is Davis definitely starting? Little gun shy about the quick hook they seem to have over there
Honestly, I think Stacking Matthew Stafford / Calvin Johnson is my strategy going forward. He's going to have his freak games like tonight where he scored about 20 points in the 1st Quarter. Even Peyton Manning and Julius Thomas looks appealing now. I'll pay extra for that kind of production. Hopefully Patterson and Harvin's cost stays down.
Don't know if he is even starting yet but no way I play a Rams QB against the Bucs. Looks like a low scoring game.

for GPP, i'm liking ryan and julio stack again. game is in cincy, bengals are favored, and the O/U is up there. good chance there's gonna be some throwing. strongly considering gambling on toilolo as well, which frees up cash for aj green, who should be catching some balls on the other side. that's just what jumps out at me on first glance, though.

Jackson was a TD. He never stepped out of bounds. He dived out of bounds in the air and put the ball across the plane while in the air out of bounds.

I'm going to miss money by .2 pts... On a wk where stafford lost 2 yds in kneel downs and Freddie Jackson got screwed out of at least 1 yd rushing and probably a td in overtime

If you're looking for overlays, FantasyAces had a bunch last week. Little ones, like six-person 50/50s where only 4 people signed up, so they were really 75/25s (i.e., three out of four people won).

Despite having a mostly bad week, salvaged it with a 1pt win in a late games DK $500 Nickel contest.

Turned out Peyton performed the least well of the expensive options, but hit on everyone except Woodhead (who was only 3700, so eh). Easily cashed everything I put this into, too bad didn't sink more into the late games. This plus 50/50's I squeaked out means I came out ahead on the whole. Down $40 at FD and up 97 at DK.
For week two, there really aren't any value QB's to get sucked into. The only ones that look remotely interesting are Locker vs. Dallas @ 7400 and Fitzpatrick vs. OAK @ 6000. Looks like majority will end up with Foles or Kapernick unless you want to go top tier.
RB's: If Ellington gets 15 carries a few passes, he seems golden at 6800 versus the hapless G-Men.
Hyde vs. CHI @ 6200 also seems good.
Moreno and Morris both seem respectable at 7000 and 7200.
At DK, Sproles @ 5100 stands out as a good one since it's PPR. Ingram is an interesting gamble @ 4500. Terrance West and Crowell (3300!) also dirt cheap if you want to take either as a flyer vs. NO.
WR: Garcon @ 6900 seems like he barely changed in price and he's a solid start. Sanders showed what he can do at the same price and until Welker comes back he looks like a reasonable option.
Brandin Cooks @ 6300 and vs. CLE. Marques Colston may have had an ugly fumble, but had more yards and is 5600.
DK: Because of when the games started, Malcom Floyd didn't get updated. He's against the Seahawks, but also only 3400 for someone who has shown he'll get targets and get them in the red zone.
Cordelle Petterson has come off very well and only 6300 while Harvin is the same yardage threat and 6400.
Brian Quick is 4800 and possibly the only fantasy relevant player on the Rams if they're going to get crushed by 40 points a game.
TE: Pony up the money or just take a flier (probably on Zach Ertz). Only inbetween option is Vernon Davis @ 6800.

they changed it, but only for the goal line. still think he coulda been in. funny thing is, they didnt change that rule first downs. nflol as usual.
anyway, wrt to fanduel, i was smart enough to avoid the shaun hilol and kenny britt debacle and even played julius and the texans defense and benjamin in some leagues but still couldnt pull anything. lol gpps. lol fitz, randle, cruz, pierce, gore, charles, mccoy.

Is your money correct on your history? It looks like I was not given credit for about half of my wins. For instance, I came in 266th out of 1000 in the FBG $11 50/50, and it shows the $20 win when I view the contest, but on my history it shows $0. Same for many other contests.

I think the games ar still being settled, money keeps coming into my account, did better than I thought
I lost 53 of $80 risked. Not great for first week ever. Adjusting lineups for updated Sunday projections probably saved me from being even worse - cashed in 1 of 3 Sunday GPP despite a horrible performance from my Romo/Dez stack. I was half right on that one - they'd be playing from behind, just thought they would keep it much closer. Noticed that Julius Thomas and Megatron were the common denominators in a lot of the high scores I saw this week.I checked. Looks like I only lost $83.Even better.
Learned a few things and will make some strategy changes for week 2.

how strictly do you guys follow the 'don't start thursday night players' stuff? forsett might be a solid value play against a porous steeler run D, but i always hear that you're not supposed to pick thursday night guys. what's the move?
