FBG Contest Team Status Updates Page (1 Viewer)

198.9 with Derrick Mason yet to play. Good week finally thanks to Favre, Jamal Lewis, Marshawn Lynch and Lee Evans!. First week using Rian Lindell's points (5 kickers on the roster). The only one who has not contributed is Brandon Lloyd -- and I don't see that happening!!!

Good luck all and see you in Week 10! Should be a challenging week for all the Brady/Moss/Welker owners!

This is scary. I have only 118.75 with Demetrius Williams, Jason Witten, Santonio Holmes, and the Pitt D left. If the previous poster is correct. I will need a bunch of points from those guys to make the cut :goodposting:

worried about the high cut line, have 130 with m. barber, dallas def and p. crayton. looks like barber is giving me a good chance to move on to next week.

117, but I still have Ben, FWP, Holmes and the Steeler D to go, and pretty much all of their points will be added to my total. Still hopeful.

Updating 181.15

Counting Tony Hunt as a sure zero so what's left.

Santonio and Heap (7.9 is my current flex, 8.6 is my current #3 WR, 8.7 if my current TE score)

I THINK I should be good, of course I have to be good, but man the high scores posted here got me all :goodposting:

Regardless, you have to think that some good teams are gonna come up short this week.

134 points, but still have:

FWP, Santonio Holmes, Matt Stover, and the Baltimore defense to go.

I think I'll move on, but it looks closer than I would have liked!

Yikes. I think I might survive with 50% of my RBs on bye (SJax/Leonard).

141.75 thanks to Brees and Jamal.

Got McGahee tonight (all his points count) and Holmes/DemWilliams -2.6 (wr) and -4.5 (flex).

i'm thinking a big % of those cut this week will have Gates
Yup.. TE Stud Theroy here... This is the first week that one of my TE's didnt blow up.Gates,Watson,E.Johnson,GrahamBTW.. Those using the Semi-Live scoring app I have up to track your teams, I know its slow.. I need to tweak some code to make it more efficient. I will get that resolved as soon as I can...

118-ish with Holmes (-8.7) and FWP. Not looking good unless Parker has a really good game. I'm taking 0 from my 2nd RB slot (Gore, C. Brown, A. Peterson, S. Morris).

I'd say that I'm toast.

And just to throw this out there to the rest of the folks still in this. If you are using the app, donate a little $ to Mike (the link is at the bottom of the scoring page.) It's a great service for us, he's done a good job getting the thing working and saving us a lot of time. Thanks Org Chaos!-Hove

Unofficial: if there were no MNF, the 2300th-highest score would be 133.20.
:reche: :eek:Gotta figure the score will probably be just north of 140. Crazy! All those guys relying on Benson to carry their team were clearly screwed by this untimely bye...
135.05 with Willie Parker (-2.50), Santiono Holmes (-7.50), and Jeff Reed (-5.00) remaining. Looks like I should squeak by this week, and is the first time I have been close to the cutoff.

WOW. I am around 130 with Baltimore's DEF to add and Santonio Holmes - 2.5. My team stunk this week. Thank goodness for ADP!!!! :goodposting:

ADP, Brees, LT, Welker, Colston all chipped in.

Also, a ROBERT ROYAL sighting for my team was nice :football:

194.5 with McGahee (-10.10) going tonight.

Came in to MNF at 126 & change, with such standout performances as Curry (3.2), V. Jackson (2.3), Betts (6.8) and Daniel Graham (8.7) locked into my Flex.

So Pittsburgh's D has added 2, McGahee bumped Betts, and Santonio gave me a huge bump. I'm happy, right?

Then I realize almost every single borderline poster in here has Holmes and/or Roethlisberger playing tonight. I'm up to 150.9, but with only 2300 moving on, will it be enough?

:scared:

Same here. I have 155.25 with Holmes, Pitt D, and Demitrius Williams.

I've got Demetrius (cost the same $3 as Welker) Williams going as well. As high as I was on him in the preseason, I'm not exactly hopeful he'll come through. At least McNair was looking his way on the Harrison pick.

150+ should be good, didn't look to see %owned on Ben, but even with his huge score (just need 25 more Ben, and I get a league win...I hate playing against AD!), I doubt the cut bumps over 15. Cut should easily be 140-145 though... :coffee:

Came in at 163.15 thanks to McGahee & Holmes. Pitt's D even added a few for me.

Here's hoping all the Brady/Moss/Welker guys go home next week! (no offense)

Yup, i'm gone at 125..

I fixed the Semi Live Scoring App so the load times shouldnt be nearly as bad for those left in it.

Also, for those that have been asking, I finally got to a point where I thought I could do a projected cut, but my sample size is too small, combined with the people that are actually using this are limited to people that are still in/interested in the contest.

There are about 200 active teams in the DB and a cut similar to today's 2300 would be around the top 21%, or 40 people in my DB. It is drastically off at 195.5...

If I do this for FBG next year and I am able to work with the subscriber teams DB, we will be able to have live projected cutoffs also

Good luck to those still in it.

Don't you mean the cut would be the bottom 21% (or the bottom 40 in your DB) ? Surely you don't have 160 of your 200 DB teams going over 195.5 points.
