hey I honestly cannot remember what the fate of edmure is in the book.
Yes.so Bran took control of Hodor and a wolf.
ANd Jon Snow just took off? left his hot piece of ### behind?
Can't recall if he has a legitimate claim or not, but what about John Snow? If he returns could he be king of the north? I agree with a previous poster who said one of those younger Stark kids, likely the girl who's a bad ###, is going to take this thing over one day.So Tyrion is Lord of the North through marriage now? As far as Kings Landing knows, the other Starks are dead.
Snow's a *******. Like Gendry, he has no rights to claim anything his father had. Can't recall if he has a legitimate claim or not, but what about John Snow? But he can take from them EVERYTHING!Snow's a *******. Like Gendry, he has no rights to claim anything his father had. Can't recall if he has a legitimate claim or not, but what about John Snow? Yeah that was some bs by Robbb.collusal #### up by Robb huh? I guess you dont break your wedding vows. Loved Frey too "ill get another wife"
I agree. Remember, many of these questions here are to stimulate speculation, not for someone that knows to just point blank answer it.I think book readers need to be careful at this point and non book readers need to stop asking so many questions right now Shocking episode, and one that certainly left a TON of questions One would think the finale would resolve some of them
much appreciatedI think book readers need to be careful at this point and non book readers need to stop asking so many questions right now Shocking episode, and one that certainly left a TON of questions One would think the finale would resolve some of them Not trying to stifle discussion at all, just know that I have erased several answers to questions already so I don't spoil anything
It was actually Edwyn Frey who bolted for the door when the Rains of Castamere came on. Cat ran him down and saw he had mail on slapped the sht out of him.AT risk of bringing the books into it, the Red Wedding in the books was a bit more abrupt(Frey didn't speak and Cat didn't notice that Bolton had armor on...Robb was just standing there and the "a crossbow bolt grew out of his side"....AND since they had fleshed out so many more of Robb's bannermen...it was a little more jarring and personal. I think though, that for the constraints of television....they did a very nice job.
That was great....Jorah has skills. And he didn't like Dany showing concern for Daario.BTW, you know much of an amazing ending that was when no one has even mentioned Daario Naharis, Grey Worm and Jorah Mormont just flat out wrecking #### That was a great fight scene The Unsullied armor is awesome, and Grey Worm does work with that spear

All in all...the book readers did an excellent job of not spoiling this.I agree. Shocking episode, and one that certainly left a TON of questions

I treat this thread like any other TV show threads.. Questions asked aren't looking for real answers, just speculation and further discussion between people who don't know the outcome.
I'm sure this post will get a sarcastic "WAAAAHH TV SHOW READER CRYBABY" response. I don't know why those people can't just stick to the other thread though.
And Bran worging into the wolf and tearing it up. That was a good scene all the way around. What a tense episide of TV.BTW, you know much of an amazing ending that was when no one has even mentioned Daario Naharis, Grey Worm and Jorah Mormont just flat out wrecking #### That was a great fight scene The Unsullied armor is awesome, and Grey Worm does work with that spear
This. That was almost definitely the best sword fight of the series so far and it is just dwarfed by the ending.BTW, you know much of an amazing ending that was when no one has even mentioned Daario Naharis, Grey Worm and Jorah Mormont just flat out wrecking ####
That was a great fight scene
The Unsullied armor is awesome, and Grey Worm does work with that spear
I put on my robe and wizard hat"You know all that by looking at marks on paper? You must be some kind of wizard"
The look on Sam's face was great after that.
Update?Picked up 8.73%.I think you have the right idea but its too early for both moves. The dragons only stand to get stronger, and the Starks might have new lows.Stark stock price has to be at near it's 52 week low right? I'm taking my profits in the dragons and trying to buy on the dip here.![]()
What's the meaning behind that song, other than it being the signal?Did Cercei mention it when she was telling the story of the 2nd most powerful family getting slaughtered? Here is my one question.... What in the hell is everyone in the North's camp thinking when they hear "Rains of Castamere". I think I hear that in that setting, I am preparing for a fight. Lady Stark looks lost and Robb keeps jabbing away. Huh?
I don't know if they hear it outside. Cat definitely knew what was up.Here is my one question.... What in the hell is everyone in the North's camp thinking when they hear "Rains of Castamere". I think I hear that in that setting, I am preparing for a fight. Lady Stark looks lost and Robb keeps jabbing away. Huh?
That is the song of the Lannisters. Which last episode Cersei explained is all about how the Lannisters completely wiped out an entire House that fought them. What's the meaning behind that song, other than it being the signal? Here is my one question.... I do wonder people actually watch the show. they just explained the meaning of the songs origins an episode or two ago. What's the meaning behind that song, other than it being the signal? Here is my one question.... Well, yea, outside sure. They do not hear it. Cat knew something was up but seemed to be trying to figure it out until she sees Lord Bolton is in armor. Your host (who everyone knows is less than honorable and pissed at you) plays the song of the enemy and you do not immediately jump to action?I don't know if they hear it outside. Cat definitely knew what was up.Here is my one question.... What in the hell is everyone in the North's camp thinking when they hear "Rains of Castamere". I just recalled that scene and edited....now I get it.That is the song of the Lannisters. I just think its crazy (not in a bad way) how they can spend so much time with a character like Rob and then just kill him. Think about how many scenes we had with Rob. Rob coming up with battle plans. Rob with his wife. Rob dealing with his uncle. Rob Marching. And then all of a sudden, Rob and everyone around him is dead. Just pure insanity. In a different forum I was reading, some jerk let out the spoiler about the red wedding (I think that is what it is called) on purpose to be a jerk. I then later fell across it to confirm in reading something in the Wiki (something I have stopped doing because of spoilers).... so I knew this was coming. My stomach was a mess knowing what was going to happen in the broad strokes but not exactly until I saw it.
Beyond being a sucker for this genre- what I like about the writing is that it is much more like real life in terms of anything can really happen. So much of what you see or read these days has one or two or maybe even more characters where you know they will live. If they do get killed, you know that will be back in some way (ghost, never really dead, etc) and so in predicament that the hero gets into- you know they will make it out just by an inch in the last possible second. Not so with GoT. Anyone can die or be killed at any time. It makes for really following a story- more like reading history but without knowing what the end result is. At the same time of hating what happened, it is what makes this show stand out among so much of what is out there.
i didnt recognize the musicI do wonder people actually watch the show. they just explained the meaning of the songs origins an episode or two ago. What's the meaning behind that song, other than it being the signal? Here is my one question.... It's a popular song in Westeros (although it obviously has the Lannister connotations)Well, yea, outside sure. His uncle seemed to have gotten away....he won't let it go.I wonder what becomes of the marriage that just took place? The uncle guy seems like the type of person that will let this go, now that he has a new hot FreyWife.
Oh, I think the point was driven home pretty well And you don't just go skipping through Westeros to double spike the football, especially if you are a Lannister where you shouldn't belongYup, but what I don't get is that the Lanisters clearly had a hand in it by the remarks made when they killed Stark. Why not just have the Lanisters there to really drive the point home? When they started killing everyone they should have had a Lanister come out to seal the deal.So I'm assuming Frey has been plotting this since Robb screwed him....and the entire wedding was the set up....because he knew Robb would come.

I had no idea what that song meant either.i didnt recognize the musicI do wonder people actually watch the show. they just explained the meaning of the songs origins an episode or two ago. What's the meaning behind that song, other than it being the signal? Here is my one question.... alcohol....the cause of and solution to all of lifes problems.Well, yea, outside sure. They do not hear it. The guy that went to the little boys room is Rob's great uncle, his uncle is the one that got married. His uncle seemed to have gotten away....he won't let it go.I wonder what becomes of the marriage that just took place? Didn't like it? It freaking broke his heart. That was great....Jorah has skills.
