So now the two greatest villains in television history, Joffrey and Ramsay, are both dead. Who's left to hate on the show?
They've made her a little more sympathetic lately, but Cersi is more hated than both and will remind us why very soon.

She started out as a villain (as did her brother Jamie) but both became more complex that the purely evil Joffrey and Ramsey. I root for Cersei to defeat the Sparrow. They've made her a little more sympathetic lately, but Cersi is more hated than both and will remind us why very soon.
A bunch of the posters in here.So now the two greatest villains in television history, Joffrey and Ramsay, are both dead. Who's left to hate on the show?
I have a feeling that the means to which she'd find her ends in defeating the Sparrow will have you rethinking who you backed. She started out as a villain (as did her brother Jamie) but both became more complex that the purely evil Joffrey and Ramsey. I root for Cersei to defeat the Sparrow.
Littlefinger will do something creepy and slimy. So now the two greatest villains in television history, Joffrey and Ramsay, are both dead. Who's left to hate on the show?
I have to admit, I have not been able to figure out the Sparrow's end game. Sometimes I think he is going for a power grab and others, I think he is just an overly zealous pious man.She started out as a villain (as did her brother Jamie) but both became more complex that the purely evil Joffrey and Ramsey. I root for Cersei to defeat the Sparrow.
I was thinking the same exact thing when she was talking to Dany.Yara Greyjoy has a nice ###.
Will do? ... He is an amazing villain. Let's see...he double crossed Ned, assassinated the king, killed his wife, made out with a prepubescent girl, ....Littlefinger will do something creepy and slimy.
Let's pump the brakes a little there, chief. So now the two greatest villains in television history, Joffrey and Ramsay, are both dead. Who's left to hate on the show?
I admit I haven't watched every show but I'm familiar with most of the major ones. Who has been a better villain than those two?Let's pump the brakes a little there, chief.
Who hasn't wanted to do at least one of these thingsWill do? ... He is an amazing villain. Let's see...he double crossed Ned, assassinated the king, killed his wife, made out with a prepubescent girl, ....
Paging @WetDreamThat shot of Jon Snow in the middle of the battle being smothered on all sides may be the single best moment I have ever watched on television. If we were watching a movie, it would be regarded as an all time cinematic moment. For a television show- we've never seen anything like that.
IMO people you want to die <> good villain. I think Littlefinger and Tywin are better bad guys just from this show. Ramsey is way too one note, Joffrey at least had something else to him.I admit I haven't watched every show but I'm familiar with most of the major ones. Who has been a better villain than those two?
I've already jerked it twice, once to Jon snow getting smothered in a ponytail, and once just knowing Tim was jerking it to Jon snow getting smothered in a ponytail. It was like we were in the same room together.
I'm guessing they'll try to make Euron Greyjoy into that type of character although it may be a little late in the game to bring in someone for fans to love to hate. As others have said Cersei is still an evil character. She's just been reduced about 20 notches because the High Sparrow has been drop-kicking her around so much lately but if she finally is able to beat him then her true nature will quickly return. And if she's back in power in King's Landing when Dany arrives that should be a fun showdown. So now the two greatest villains in television history, Joffrey and Ramsay, are both dead. Who's left to hate on the show?
Him and Bronn need some scenes together.Tormund; "Did you really think that coont would get off his horse to fight you?"

Guys like him, or Sauron from LOTR, are just too impersonal to be great. The ultimate big bad remains the Night King.
this is really good
But that's likely going to be the ultimate battle. At least that's what everything appears to be building toward. The Night King is the personification of evil on the show. He's the biggest "bad guy" the "good guys" have to defeat. I obviously don't know how the show is going to end but I'm assuming the battle with the White Walkers will be one of the final battles if not the final one we'll see on the show.Guys like him, or Sauron from LOTR, are just too impersonal to be great.

Agreed. I got the impression afterwards that the writers only really wanted the giant there for the castle scene and didn't know how to keep him from having too big an impact on the rest of the battle without it being a bit awkward. How about just having an actual weapon, say like a tree or a long metal pole? He could have smashed a whole side of the enemy with ease. Maybe even knocked the guys shooting arrows at him at the castle. If he had a shield (like the door he knocked down) or thick armor and a sword he could have likely taken out the other army by himself.
As opposed to the 3rd or 4th time we see another army come in at the last minute to save the day?As predictable as the Battle of the Bastards was, did anybody else think for a little bit that some of Ramsey's troops were going to end up turning on him? The idea was planted by Jon Snow saying they wouldn't be thrilled to fight for him when he wouldn't fight for them. Then when Ramsey kept ordering his archers to fire even though they were killing their own men as much as the enemy while Ser Davos refrained from doing the same, it seemed like they might be setting that up.
That probably would have been too cheesy, though.
Ha. Yeah, pretty much. That's just such standard practice cheesy, though, that it's easier to pull off.As opposed to the 3rd or 4th time we see another army come in at the last minute to save the day?![]()
Agree 100%Ha. Yeah, pretty much. That's just such standard practice cheesy, though, that it's easier to pull off.
Anyway, I forgive it. It was an awesome battle scene.
Yes!I've already jerked it twice, once to Jon snow getting smothered in a ponytail, and once just knowing Tim was jerking it to Jon snow getting smothered in a ponytail. It was like we were in the same room together.
I waited years for an episode like Hardhomme and still didn't see it coming. This was a great episode but not Hardhomme. I don't know if Ive ever seen an episode I enjoyed more in any show than that. Probably never be topped for me.Hardhomme was awesome because no one saw it coming. This battle has been hyped for a good chunk of the season. Was definitely an amazing battle.
Never been a show anywhere near Game of Thrones. Doubt there ever will beThere has never been a show of a higher quality than GoT. The team it takes from writers to scripts to directors to set designers to cgi to casting to filming, to editing, and on and on. No show has ever been this "big."
As technically great as "Battle of the Bastards" was, I prefer "Blackwater." It's dark and seems small scale after recent seasons, but the stories behind the battle are what made it. Tyron/Brann + Joffrey, the Hound (#### the king), Sansa + Cersei and young Tommen. Illin Payne ready to execute all the women.
Moss?Once hbo got letters about jamie raping his sister on his kids grave, sansa was locked in as the one who would kill randy.
I think he means as a GOT fan...like we knew a huge battle like that was possible and would happen someday, but it didn't happen until then and GOT fans geeked out about it.Jesus, man.
