Game Thread W14 - Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (1 Viewer)

I feel sorry for 38's parents. You did a poor job raising your child. What a loser.
Can I call your parents and ask them how often they see you performing your job on national TV for a six digit salary minimum?
:goodposting:
Your chosen avatar is a homeless guy doing drugs and you name yourself after feces on this board, it just seems humorous to me that you would question the pride in others choices.
You are  Avatar is of Howlin' Wolf = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howlin'_Wolf

Spin it however you want, you are on a message board calling someone who make ten times your salary a loser. Money isn't everything but no one has ever heard of you...

Great win, very happy. I love seeing the Eagles give up leads and then fight back; shows a lot of poise and character. I nearly fell out of my chair tonight seeing the Eagles commit to running the ball to grind out the clock at the end. And as if that weren't shocking enough, to see Shady busting off 1st down scampers in the process was :goodposting:

Great game. Wish the Cowboys would have pulled it off but there are still things that need to get fixed on this team before they are ready to beat a solid playoff team like the Eagles. Still not impressed with the play calling by Garrett or the play of the defense. They are getting turnovers to stay in the game but Jenkins takes too many chances and Newman cant cover anyone one on one. Need a better safety back there too. These guys suck.

Saw some real holes in the Eagles defense though. If they are going to make any noise this year they cant give up 27 points a game.

It isnt getting any better, until the offseason at least

Oh there's plenty of holes in the D, add another big one with losing Bradley, our only good LB. I keep trying to tell other Eagle fans to temper things a little bit. It seems theyre all Vicked up and losing sight of a pretty porous defense, not to mention a godawful redzone D. If they make the playoffs, it very well can be one and done.

I'm torn between my hatred for poor sportsmanlike behavior and jackass celebrations and my love for watching the Cowboys get humiliated. What a turd.
The line that defines "poor sportsmanship" has moved too far. These guys get paid millions to play a game. The ones on the short end of the play should play better or get used to watching someone else celebrate.
No, it hasn't. It's still pretty easy to see what's poor sportsmanship and what isn't. Especially when you've got a guy with a history of celebrating before he scores and costing himself and his team a TD. It's actually beyond poor sportsmanship and goes well into stupid football plays. He could've tried spinning and tweaked the ankle, stepping out at the 1, dropping the ball in pain and giving Dallas a touchback or a number of other things that would cost him and his team a TD. Anything can happen when you have to run another play, and in fact it has happened to him iirc. Westbrook got hurt punching in a TD when he dropped the ball before crossing the line in DJ's first blunder against Dallas. So not only is it poor sportmanship it's also very stupid football. And he has the history to prove it. The other team stopping it has nothing to do with him being a stupid and cocky player.

I have no dog in this fight, but again that was a BS call, it is the same as diving in and that isnt called.
It's the definition of unsportsmanlike conduct. Great player, but a punk. Seriously, grow up.
So you think that someone who dives head first when they don't need to should be flagged?
it all depends if they are doing it to hurt the other teams feelings..
I like what you did there....I think it is funny the other poster expects him to "grow up". He lives a life of luxury that the rest of us imagine, but could never comprehend. And he does this by playing a child's game. Grow up? why?
Because in his career he's already done stupid celebrations that cost his team touchdowns and/or penalties thazt can end up hurting the team in yardage or other players getting hurt?
