So I am trekking north on the way to Solitude for the first time. I am following a river. I come across a blood dragon, a bandits camp with like 7 bandits, and a fishermans house. I can't get past the dragon. He ate me once. Then I tried to lure him to the bandits but the bandits killed me as I was fighting the dragon. This is the hardest time I've had yet. I am gonna just try to sneak past it all tonight.
I love Skyrim, it's the most fun I've had playing a video game in years. But if there's one criticism, it would be that leveling is too easy. Reading your post actually made me envious because it's been a long time in the game since that kind of scenario presented itself. Even though I'm still not yet done the Companions Quest, most of the masks, none of the Thieves Guild, none of the Dark Brotherhood, none of the Mages, none of the Bards, and only partway through the Main Quest, I'm at a point where dragons can't do much to me. And it's not like I tried to level up or use quirks or glitches to become invincible. I've just been leveling up naturally and building better armor/enchantments as I get them. Yet, last night I was attacked by a Frost Dragon at the same time two mammoths and two giants were there, so I had to fend all five off at once, and won with ease. And again, it's not because I became some souped up juggernaut. I'm only a Level 45 and have Legendary Ebony Armor, Bow and the Otar mask (also Legendary). Powerful? Sure, but nowhere close to maxed out, yet a head on battle against a dragon and four other big foes was a non event.
