I'm no prude - quite the opposite in fact, but I like to waste a good portion of my work day reading football news and views here in the SP.Having topless chicks at the top of every page is not ideal for those who work/live with others when they are on FBG's. And I'm the boss, so not worried about getting int trouble, but just don't feel it's appropriate for me to have such images plastered across my screen.I understand the need for advertising, but when a site says this:

Girl images (real and cartoon) need to be static. That means the images don't move. No strippers or dancing girls. No shots of girls (real and cartoon) running and bouncing. Non suggestive bikini images are ok. Suggestive bikini shots are not ok. Thong shots are not ok. Shots where girl is missing the top or bottom of her bikini and she's "covering" with another object are not ok.Wet T-shirt shots are not ok.
but doesn't stick to their own rules, I think that's pretty crap. Please take them down, remain keeping excellent to your subscribers and then delete this non-shark pool post of mine.Thanks,Chook.

Guys, anytime you see an ad that's inappropriate for any reason, let us know and we can remove them. Thanks for being diligent about this.

I haven't seen them either. Check your computer, you may have a virus. You may want to delete your "cookies" and Temporary Internet files.

chook - not that I disagree, but where are you catching these adds? I don't see it. Being sincere here.
They're gone now, but were in the grey strip to the right of the FBG's logo up the top. While I understand that there are ad-blocks and cookies etc, the point I raised was mainly that the ads didn't really adhere to the FBG charter. Thanks for fixing that Jason.

wow good catch - the first time I see that it will be an end to my browsing this site at work, and an end to workign at this job.

I don't think it makes financial sense to remove those ads.

Do you know how much money it took to find hot topless coeds who aren't anyone's daughters?

It sounds like you have a virus on your machine (internet speed monitor? just one of many) - these type of spyware/adware upload their own ads to your machine in the ad spaces available on your browser. To keep my machine safe from these sorts of threats, I run Ad Aware (free personal edition) and Spybot Search and Destroy (free personal edition) once a week, in addition to my anti-virus which does a complete scan of my machine daily.

There should never be any ads that aren't PG rated. Ever. It's in our advertising contract. It's possible that it's a virus issue on your machine. Or it's possible that inappropriate ads got through the filter and are in the mix. If you see anything like that again, please report it to us ASAP. Sorry, but we will pull all the ads before we have ads with topless girls.

Please let us know if you're seeing anything here like that.

Echoing what Joe said. We've had cases before where folks have received ad banners with nude women from the FBG site but the culprit was Zango spyware which operates by overlaying illicit and offensive banners over the legitimate banners placed on websites. If you see any annoying ads, though, it is possible that some have slipped through the screening process. Let us know and we will get them removed ASAP.
