Well obviously they just need to hand the ball off to Andre all day.

wait...it was supposed to be bench, wasn't it?just cut dez
And Dallas knowing this will also put 8-9 in the box. I see an ugly ypc this game for A.Brown, but the touches should be there.Well obviously they just need to hand the ball off to Andre all day.

The DEN/NE game will also be windy, but it seem like that DAL/NYG will be affected the most with higher wind gusts.Ravens not doing usual pre-game pyrotechnics because of high-wind in the stadium.
Picked up Keenum for games exactly like this. Not the easiest decision, but I'll live with it.Anybody benching Romo?
I still have Big Ben, doubt that's any better.
Glennon and Tolzeine are both still oyt there though

Passing yards may be down but there is always the short TD passes that are not affected by the wind. Romo likes to throw to Dez/Witten down at the goal line. If Eli turns it over in Giants territory, I see about 220 yards/2-3 TD's for Romo.Anybody benching Romo?

Not sure what i'll do....
I have the same decision. Leaning toward Keenum even though the winds figure to lessen due to the gusts, and the matchup is much more favorable even if the weather in NJ was not an issue at all.Keenum is the other option I'm considering. Is the weather enough of a potential issue to consider another alternative with a more favorable matchup? I assume most of you using this thread don't have much of a plan B. At least that's the impression I get.
I swapped Gould for Feeley at the last minute last week and it cost me points.Romo over kap. Sticking with Bailey. Not gonna start overthinking now
All things being equal I'd start Romo over Keenum without question. I don't think all things are equal this week.I have the same decision. Starting Glennon in a nice cozy dome against a terrible Lions secondary over Romo.Anybody benching Romo?
what on earth are you talking about?Alright so the weather/wind clearly affected the passing games. Romo serviceable. Witten great. And a whole lot of frustration elsewhere. Hope it didnt cost many here.
No need to defend yourself. If people don't want to know about potentially difficult weather, they don't need to click on the thread.Yea the td's saved the day but you're lost if u didnt think the weather was a factor today. Any long pass was hooking badly.
romo, witten, dez, eli, brown, and bailey all had good games. Only guy who sucked was cruz. You were wrong which is fine, everyone is wrong at times. But to come in at the end of the day and say i told ya so completely ignroing all the results looks foolish.Yea the td's saved the day but you're lost if u didnt think the weather was a factor today. You never just said "weather is a factor". Of course weather is a factor. You implied that the weather would result in a bad passing game and lots of running. The Cowboys ended up passing the ball twice as much as they ran. And Romo had 250 passing yards and 2 TD's. You were wrong. Don't double down on it. Just own it and move on.Da Gildz said:You guys are crazy. Meadowlands winds are like no other. I've seen wind gusts up to 45 mph! Good luck starting these guys. You're going to see a ton of Murray/Brown.
The same goes for me, too. No one reached through the Internet and made me bench Romo. I made the wrong call. I actually appreciate the posts of many here trying to be helpful; and in particular, the locals. My decisions across the board were putrid today, and it's all on me. If I can't own the bad decisions, then I have no right to own the good ones either. You never just said "weather is a factor". Of course weather is a factor. Check the game logs. Eli had 5 passes yesterday over 20 yards, his high water mark this season was week one where he had 6. Romo's game is not predicated as much by the deep ball as Eli's by your own admission, right? So we can discount his 250/2TD game as well? Please explain to us how you are right.Da Gildz said:No I was right. The wind was a factor. When u can't complete a pass > 20 yds down the field, which is a big part of Eli's game at least, then yes the conditions played a factor. Romo just had more intermediate targets to work with. And in the end, that was difference.
you are a fool. accept your ownage already. The weather had no significant impact on fantasy points. That is fact. go run back to your glennon thread now, and preach about glennon's deep ball accuracy. lolCheck the game log? Lol. You didn't watch the game did u. He didnt complete 1 pass more then 20 yds (IN THE AIR)
Sigh
At least u left the glennon thread.
