Man, I am REALLY glad I'm not in a league with some of the people in this thread. Way over dramatic and over confident on their opinion of players.

Some of you guys are going on name recognition alone when you look at this trade. It's been explained before so I won't do it again, but this trade has a number of justifiable ways to look at it.

No way would I veto this trade as commish. Just follow your league rules. If it's a voting situation, vote on it and be done with it. If people want to bail, they can bail - they knew the rules before the season started and knew they would cover any and all trades. If they want to punk out when it doesn't go their way, that's their choice.

I can't for the life of me understand people who want to police other people's teams. Everyone has to value players they same way, trades have to makes sense to everyone, "stupid" moves can't be allowed, etc. THOSE types of people are the ones that take the fun out of a league, not owners who take perceived "dumb" risks.

The fact of the matter is, all these guys saying they would veto would accept that trade in a heat beat if it was offered to them (if they are being honest).

Saying stuff like "it ruins the integrity of the league" is so over dramatic. Give me a break. You sound like some soccer mom talking about another mom who's "trying to destroy me" because she made the same dessert at a bake sale.

You paid for YOUR team, not any other. Play your team, put the high school drama away and try to make some trades yourself. All that other mess is a waste of time.
