So I went to the football HOF gold jacket dinner tonight. Sat about 5 feet from where Bruce Smith, Mike Ditka, Jim Kelly and Warren Sapp were standing during the ceremony. Bills HOFer Billy Shaw actually sat down next to me for a bit and we chatted (I felt like a total tool because he is way before my time and I had no clue who he was for a while. And I'm a Bills fan).

Jim Kelly kind of put his butt in my shoulder when he gave Mary Wilson a hug at one point. I was also just steps away from when Andre Reed walked the HOFer guantlet and hugged both Bruce and JK.

Pretty awesome night.

Luckily I stopped to see a bartender buddy of mine before work yesterday, met his boss and got hired on the spot. Start next week so I can say adios to this craphole I'm working at now. Money should be pretty solid, and it's a very busy college bar.

I grew up in Canton so have done a lot of it before. Hadn't done the gold jacket ceremony before though and somehow ended up with probably the best possible seats Bills fan could possibly have had.

Headed to the parade tomorrow and then the game Sunday night. Should be fun.
