Last weekend I took my son (just turned 4 this week) to a cookout at a friend's house. I brought my camera and my son proceeded to start taking pictures of everything (he does this all the time, then I have to go through the camera and delete about 100 pictures of the floor, the ceiling, the dog and pics of me with my half of my head missing etc.) So I'm going through the pictures today and I find a picture my son took of
this guy. He is the future father in law of one my best friends and we always laugh at the irony that this guy has a full mustache and body hair like George the Animal Steele, yet he has no hair on top of his head. (and that fact that he walks around shirtless with a gold chain is good for some chuckles too)
So I asked my son why he took this picture and he looked at me and said: "because Daddy, this is something me and you laugh at". I had such a feeling of pride and realized what an incredible bond I've developed with my little man. I also had a feeling of fear.... fear that this type of sense of humor at this age is going to get him in a lot of trouble.
