GM's thread about nothing (20 Viewers)

I met rigehtti and oc zed in RL last night, cool guys for sure. Rigehtti kept his shirt on, but then, his song never came on  But, He did have his shirt open and I did get a wee touch of chest hair

So the wife and I "discovered" this wine bar type of place. They try to act all hoity-toity. Basicaly you guy a debit card thing and then use it to get 2oz of wine for $2.00 or whatever. They also have a big selection of beers. You can get a bottle of damn good beer for anywhere from $1.50 to $20.00 and then pay a corkage fee ($1.00) and drink it there. Once I figured out their game I was set. Shammered.
Is $2.00 the going rate for 2 fluid ounces these days?

Apparently part of being a good wife and maintaining a marriage involves seeing "Captain America" today. Anyone seen it? Should I pack a Camelbak of wine?

See, now I would think that women would LOVE LOVE LOVE being married to me. I never - and I mean NEVER - go to action movies or comic book movies or god help me those ridiculous horror movies. I just don't care for them. At all. I won't even rent them. And yet sometimes, the women folk...they find problems with me. I don't get it either.

So is everyone in the photo caption contest that uses a word beginning with p to describe kittens going to get a timeout too? The whole thing is just a trap. Joe has a weird sense of humor.

5-1 yesterday, +2.5uSantana (cle) NO RBI -170A. Cabrera (cle) UNDER 2.5 h+r+bi -170Gonzalez (col) NO RBI -145Bourjos (laa) NO Run -150
Been tailing you the best I can, but it always seems that SB doesn't have all of the lines you post. I can usually only find about 75% of your plays. Do I need to be looking elsewhere for your Cle picks for today? They aren't shown under Player Props.BTW, regardless of only being able to tail some of your picks, I'm up 3+ total units, so I'm happy. Thanks.
Look for the "Tigers vs. Indians" section, they'll have the props in there for that game. There are always two games each day that have their own little section and so the props don't show up in the regular prop plays area.

You've always been able to post things in those threads that you couldn't get away with posting in average threads. It completely makes sense if you don't think about it.

Slapshot? Never heard of it. When did it come out? Is it as funny as The Mighty Ducks? (never seen that either).
come on.Paul freaking Newman and the Hanson Brothers? You're missing out.

The mmmmmmmmbob guys? What?
yep.they started out their career playing hockey goons in a movie from the 1970s. true story.
:lmao: I hate to laugh at GM; he's such a great sport. But still, this movie has been around, and been a favorite mention on this board, for a long time. Remember the first time they go on the road and Paul Newman walks by their hotel room and finds them squabbling over their slot car track. That was awesome. [/Farley]

The Caption threads are schtick, right?
They are absolutely awful. Only about 1% of the responses are funny.
I was thinking they needed more RoarinSonoran. Then a new guy named Hatch registered last night. RS alias or new king?
Man, that guy used to try a one-liner in every thread it seemed. I don't know if any ever made me laugh. Does somebody have a compiled list of RoarinSonoran jokes to post?

This is sort of funny if you know the story behind it.

The contestant, Ron, was a PE teacher at the high school that my brothers and sisters went to. He was the heartthrob of the school. Fanny Flagg agrees.

I remember watching this with all these HS kids at my house. They were dying.

Fast-forward 20+ years later. One of my cousins is a PE teacher/football coach in the Bay Area. He's attending a PE conference in SLO. Match Game Ron is one of the conference speakers. At the end of his workshop on intramurals or whatever he asks if there are any questions. My cousin raises his hand "Yeah Steve Smith, Bay Area High...you still keep in contact with Fanny Flagg?"

I'm pretty much the same way. I do like Nolan's Batman movies, but that's as far as I go. I literally couldn't make it through Transformers. I don't think I could count the number of horror movies I've seen on both hands.Nice work, Josie!
This is particular pet peeve of mine. How many f'n Batman movies do we need? How many have their been? Please include the awful ones with George Clooney as Bat Man.

Speaking of dogs, I'm pretty sure our 13 year old beagle shepherd has gone completely deaf. I had noticed some loss of hearing over the past year, but after we put her in a kennel when we went on vacation, it seems completely gone. Is this something we need to have looked into, or just a sign of old age?
She's barely eating now. I give her one of those small milk bone biscuits every night and she's eating some scraps that end up on the floor from my daughter, but I haven't put food in her bowl for maybe 4 days. Also, she went pretty much all day the other day without showing any need to outside. :(
Sorry GB, hang in there.
Thanks, man. I'm fine, just really worried about my son. Am I supposed to prepare him for the inevitable?
Had to do that with my daughter when our dog was failing.....No matter what preparation you do, it's going to be tough when it happens. :(

read up on the WI recall elections thread.. apparently folks like Mr Pack and Alex P Keaton believe that the voice of voters has no place in america. interesting stuff.
Oh boy...... Apparently you've lost the ability to read and comprehend. Not too shocking tho....But I won't go into it here, and you shouldn't either./hijack

I was drunk on at least three separate occasions yesterday (slept off the buzz on the different legs of my flights, I know...amateur)

Getting ready to head out in a little bit to start drinking again. :banned:

I love vacation!

Movies aren't made based on "need", really. What will people go see?I think they should've just kept Adam West for all of them.
