PSA for anyone who likes money: Nicaragua.

I put our house up for rental five days ago. Five days. We already have solid inquiries + paid rentals for about four months worth of rentals. Just to do the Nicaraguan math...we pay less than $500/month paying above average wages for our property manager, cleaning person, and also utilities and cable/internet. We make >$3000/month in rental.

We're already considering our next purchase. Nicaraguan real estate conglomerate = this guy (gal).

Seriously worth considering if you have some cash lying around.
Wow  Whats the monthly payment/ or cost to purchase?

:goodposting: Did you pay cash for the property?

So wait, the guy will end up asking you what guy in the entire league you want, then go out and get him for you, so that he can can finally get this player he just can't live without?! Never heard of anything quite like that, hilarious, love it.
Yes. He's quite relentless.

So I was messing around this morning, and realized that my 3 year old daughter does not have an email address yet. So I went into Gmail to set up the account, kicked myself for not doing it earlier because the names I wanted are not available, and then got kicked by Google because I put her real birthday. :wall:

The funny part of this story is after getting kicked, I decided to log into my 7 year old son's email that I created for him back in 2004. No one at all knows this email at all, other than myself and my wife. She sent him an email in 2005 and she has probably forgotten about it.

I was surprised to find 93 emails in his Inbox. Here is the breakdown:

[*]1 email from Gmail welcoming him to Gmail

[*]1 email from his Mom

[*]1 email from YouTube confirming his account - I forgot I registered him with YouTube back in 2007. Got his name.

[*]9 emails from MySpace. I registered him for MySpace back in 2008, thinking I needed to get his real estate there early. Oops. The emails consisted of a "thanks for joining" email and several "where have you been" emails and a final "Facebook+MySpace Mashup" email. Nothing from them since January. Guess they gave up.

[*]1 email from Google Buzz and their lawsuit. Nice.

[*]80 emails from datehookup.com. Firefighter727 is going to be really pissed that he hasn't been getting all of his mail from hot chicks in his area of Fort Oglethorpe.

Would you consider taking on a partner? A silent, pale, easy going partner?

shuke - I wouldn't worry about it too much yet. Maybe have a talk with him see how he's doing if anything is bothering him. Be supportive, don't make a big deal out of it. If it continues it may be something. My eldest had similar issues from time to time and it passed.
I talked to him, and he seems to be doing fine. Everyting good at school, not getting in trouble there or anything. We just got done with soccer season, where he was probably the least aggressive and least productive player on the team, but that stuff doesn't seem to phase him.
Start making him wear slacks. Confidence should skyrocket.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: My mom made we wear slacks in first grade. Sucked so bad.
Worse than Tanner's red slacks?
Pretty sure they were white. When I was traveling with my folks to Phily a few weeks ago, my mom looked at me and said "Forrest, you wear corduroy pants, right? They are the in thing right now" and I said to her "Mom, if you are thinking of buying me any sort of clothing, let me disavow you of that notion right now and plead with you to return anything you might have purchased for me to wear. If I let you dress me, I'd still be a virgin". My dad was giggling over to the side and my mom elbowed him. Turns out she bought him three pairs of corduroy pants for his birthday and he hated them. She was so angry with both of us the rest of the trip as we would continously mock her new fascination with corduroy pants. "Hey dad, you know what would make this suit look tremendous? I nice pair of corduroy pants." :lmao: She returned them and I'm hoping returned the pairs she probably bought me for Xmas.

Now give that $2500 a month to Otis to gamble with and you will have boatloads in no time. Plus, with a bank in Nicaragua you could actually get your money out of the account unlike Otis.

Today is Picasso's birthday. I wanted to play Jonathan Richman's "Pablo Picasso" for my students but decided against it. Damn me and my high moral standards.

Awesome song!
I had to settle for saying something like "In his lifetime he produced something like 50,000 works of art and is considered one of the most influential artists of the 20th century...and girls could not resist his stare."

One of my cats knocked my iPhone into a glass cup of red wine. I went to my 70 year old neighbors to call my husband. He was unfazed but this will not be fixable until tomorrow. Boooo.

:goodposting: I heard a story about my friend trying this, and it totally didn't work. Using rice for this cure must be totally useless.

I once dropped my phone into a sack of rice and then I put it in a pitcher of water to clean it off. Totally ruined it.
