Gadzooks>I'm sure you're quite busy stuffing your muffin while fantasizing about YSR's MIL, but could you clear your PM inbox? kthx
Box is clear. Fire away
That's what she said.
You've butt dialed me twice in the last few weeks. I'm not complaining I kinda like listening to the 4 minute voicemails.
I've been having a lot of issues with that lately and I don't know why. I apparently called TU today too. Or perhaps Ben did. I now he called YSR and Krista recently.

:goodposting:I've quit letting him know because I strangely enjoy it. Especially since I know (based on the heavy toddler breathing) that it's Bennett doing the calling. Feels weird to put that in writing.

For whatever reason both my pocket and my Bennett hit FBGs more often than not.

Hi.

5 day recap?
Thanks for asking, I appreciate your interest.Monday: I had the day off so after pre-school got out I took Little 'Zooks to this recreation area where we walked in the water and skipped rocks and played with a blue frisbee we "found".

Tuesday: Work kinda sucked but I had a great Turkey sandwich for lunch. 22 YO came over, we both fell asleep watching a movie. I motor-boated her before she left just because.

Wednesday: Work was ok, I had Wendy's for lunch and it was average at best. Me and Little 'Zooks watched "Lilo and Stitch", man that Stitch is funny.

Thursday: Long day at work. I pooped 4 times throughout the day, not sure why but I'm not complaining. 22 YO came over and I bet her that I could still have sex with her within 10 minutes after she gives me a handy. It was more than 10 minutes but I still feel like I won.

Friday: Lots of drama at work. I had pizza for lunch and 22 YO came over for dinner before leaving to go visit her sister or something. I've been drinking ever since.

That's pretty much it. Let me know if you have any questions.

I kinda dig the W sandwich. Now, if they combined the Baconator with the W, I might eat there every day and have a heart attack by June.On a side note, pretty sure our GB Boom King is on a timeout but we had an awesome text conversation tonight about being a first time father. The guy is the bees knees. Thanks BK, I'll cherish that forever. Here's to Boom King

Speaking of videos. A GB of mine just got back from Africa. He swam with sharks off of Capetown, he went on a safari and did many other things. I'm completely jealous of him. Regardless, I may have shared this before but if not, here is a vid of hm running with the bulls last year. The running part is extremely shaky, obviously, but I think he did a fantastic job with the run-up and the music.

He's doing another video of his Africa trip and I'll share when he does if there's interest. I think it's cool

ETA He's the bald guy

Fun Friday night of registering for baby shower gifts. Thank Tebow for beer.I'm supposed to do research on car seats. Anyone got a subscription to Consumer Report?
Just go with a britax /research
I'm being told that price is part of the equation
I had a Britax and got a Cosco brand one from Target for my parents when I would go and visit them. The Britax was so much more convenient and much much easier to adjust and use. Maybe look around Criagslist?Oh and when my daughter was little, the "pumpkin seat" style carrier that snaps into a base was $I just went with the Graco for this one
Thanks. I understood 7 words in that post. I should probably learn this kind of thing, huh?
I have a sub. PM me your email and I can send the infant and whatever other ratings you want.

Played a new disc golf course today for the first time. Great, very challenging, course with alot of climbing and elevation change, tight windows, and a little bit of water.

Nearly stepped on this guy on hole number 2. Saw some kind of water snake on 4.

Hole 12 is entirely inside an old chicken house.

Really fun and challenging course.

Running a 10k in the morning. I got my number assingment based on my finish from last year. When I picked my number up, the girl said that I must be quite fast. Was "That's what my wife says" an improper response?

proninja> I thought I was going to have to do some apologizing in here after my morning caffeine-inspired rant. But no no. Your friends are hip and funny and weren't scared away by the caffeinated lit-geek loser.

Made 18 jars of horseradish today. Been doing it for 20 years now after taking over for my grandparents. Still not sure why I do it, my back is killing me and my eyes are sore. But it tastes awesome everyone I give jars to love.

Headed out to a date with a woman I really shouldn't be dating, which I expect will be the beginning of a three to four-week roller coaster ending in disaster. Here we go again.

Holy crap. That looks awesome. Except for that snake thing.

The Hunger Games thread is pretty damn entertaining.

Apparently lots of people who don't read like making fun of the people who do read because of what they read. Sort of like high school, only with beer bellies and magic football.

 What would you say to a 30 year old man that listens to Justin Bieber and wanted to see him in concert.

I would say you should find a different word with which to describe this human. Is it that bad?

Off to a rocky start. Apparently asking her out on Wednesday with a confirming text from her on Friday leaves her saying, "oh, I wish you'd said something earlier" on Saturday as I'm leaving to pick her up.

Sooo...you're not going out then?

Hunger Games = Justin Bieber?
They're both aimed at tween/teenage girls?
I think the target market for Hunger Games is college-age young women. But my GB's 15yo son went last night, so what do I know?
The Hunger Games trilogy is a young-adult adventure science fiction series written by Suzanne Collins.
The Young Adult Library Services (YALSA) of the American Library Association (ALA) defines a young adult as "someone between the ages of twelve and eighteen". Authors and readers of young adult (YA) novels often define the genre as "literature written for ages ranging from ten years up to the age of twenty"

Last week for St Pattys Day, there were was an "uprising" at the bars downtown and the cops forced everything to close around midnight. There used to be a festival called Riversplash where a 10 block radius would be shut down for concerts and other festival fare, but 3 years ago some people brought guns and started shooting, causing a bit of a riot. That festival has since been shut down.

SO I get in the cab tonight to get home and I have a black driver. His first words were "I'm so happy you're white. I hate black people"

He continues "Don't get me wrong, I love my people but they always have to cause #### that costs me money. You know what I'm saying?"

"The ####### blacks caused Riversplash to shut down when they came in shooting for no reason. They ####### got St Patricks Day shut down by starting fights. I hate when they come out to the bars!"

I wasn't sure where to go but just said "Yeah man, I understand why your frustrated. You lost a lot of fares"

Then he started talking about Uganda and Idi Amin. 20 minutes later I got home. I don't think I've ever had a more uncomfortable cab ride in my life. Even worse than when TRE started talking soccer with the Ghanan fellow.

Threw a politcal facebook post out there tonight re: Santorum winning Louisiana. Santorum wants to get rid of porn. New Orleans females earn plastic beads by showing their hooters. How does he win that state? They have drive-thru daquari (sp?) huts ALL over the state...you can drive through, order a 76 OZ alcoholic beverage and drive off. There are live sex shows in New Orleans. They backed Santorum. HOW? WHY? Mind boggling....
