July 26th update:

Woz showed Guster’s epic shot video to his fiancée.

SLB sends YSR French poetry.

Everyone sucks at downloading things off the internet. Also, Kindle management.

Furley came back from vacation.

Offdee would have been proud with the :style: advice thrown around before the Shuke, Texasfan, Kevzilla (a.k.a. 3 old fat guys) cornhole.

Krista offended a very large woman after almost smashing her face in with the door on a desperate hustle to reach the bathroom.
Offdee was discussed, and then ridiculed. And you forgot Cosjobs. Shuke was attracted to an Amazon in tight Daisy Dukes and a bikini who was easily 6'2, maybe more. I was surprised at the lack of tattoos, for Austin. Every woman has them. Well, 90%.
Let's not be too harsh on these summaries. They are quite a gift to the community.

And I SAID it wasn't French mother####er. It was all original prose. Sort of Chaucer meets Eazy-E meets Jessica Tandy. And you forgot the mix tape. How the hell do you forget the mix tape dickmitten?!! I spent hours in front of my dual cassette stereo recording that thing.

any of you guys get your own life insurance? whats the process like?
depends on how much you get, how old you are, etc.
28 and probably looking for 250-500k. I'm just looking for some tips on finding a good deal, how it works. Do I have to take a piss test, etc.
start hiding from the benficiary
Good call, my 8th month old has been eyeballing the #### out of my wallet

Somebody make me laugh. Or talk about having a really craptastic day so I'll feel better about myself. TIAI love you (except Tanner and Frosty)
The 3rd floor bathroom in our building is being revamped. My office is on the 3rd floor and I DRINK A LOT OF ICED TEA, and we have to go to 2 or 4 for a month. Earlier today I had to go and was heading to the 2nd floor. I move an estimated 86 times the speed of an average Memphian, and as I went to the stairway* I shoved the door open with the fervor and determination of someone who has not peed for six hours because of the ridiculous number of meetings we have. Somehow in doing so I missed the fact that there was someone on the other side of the door, despite there being a tiny doorwindow through which I could have peered. After shoving the door open with the fury of a thousand suns, and nearly taking someone's face off in the process, I said to the potential victim, "I'm so sorry; I don't know how I could have missed you."Pretty much simultaneously with which I realized the person to whom I'd directed the comment was a woman weighing about 300 pounds. And from her look to me pretty clearly decided the "couldn't have missed me" comment was weight-related.OOF.Totally not funny but an attempt to help whatever your issue might be.YIC,K4*Our three elevators are currently overloaded with people who can't be bothered to take the ONE FLIGHT of stairs to another floor
:lmao: Thank you!!! And at least the 300 pounder is taking the stairs and not the elevator, good for her.
:lol:There was high drama in my office this week when one (skinny) woman scolded another (heavier) woman for eating cake: "you'll never lose those 25 pounds eating like that!" and then followed it up with this gem: "well because of your nationality you're probably just destined for that, so why bother, right? Hahaha!"

call around. yeah, you're going to have to take a piss test, blood test, etc.FWIW, met life had the best deal for us...but I think it all depends on the state you live in

Easy, if you are healthy and virile. I just went through an agent. Took like 30 minutes and cost 100 bucks/month.ETA: Oh yeah, you gotta do a physical too. I think they drew blood.

Yeah, $100/month is expensive (assuming it's regular term life). Maybe Woz has a $5 million policy?

Yours should be cheaper. We just got a $1MM term policy for Mr. YSR and it's $70/month. It was supposed to be $50-something/month but he had a cholesterol score that was something like 3 points over the "normal" range so the premium went up. <_<

Woz> why do you need life insurance if you don't have kids and your fiancee works? Especially at 100/mo? You guys own a mansion or something?

Reading FFA, making plans for the weekend and playing Monopoly on my phone.

I don't think there is anyway I can get any work done today.

gives his wife some added incentive for murder
:lmao:Serious answer... someone probably told him it was a good investment.
Well I guess that's exactly my fear but I didn't want to jump to a conclusion.

Speaking of cornholes, I was holding off on definitive plans for Saturday because I've felt like crap the past couple of days. Feeling better today so I think I can still make a go of it. The issue is, I've gotten a lot of lukewarm responses from, well pretty much everybody. In addition to Rudnicki, Proninja and Fish in here, I also contacted Britney Spears and Pigskin P. Everybody said something along the lines of, "maybe". Well, that's not enough to plan a night of cards around so I either need some yes, I will be there's or we can plan on something else. Anybody else up here I should be considering?
Yes, I will be there, provided it happens. Can get there at 6 or so.
Fish?

:goodposting: Wasn't Woz buddies with the insurance rep or something? Woz trying to buy him a Mercedes or something?

I have some scheduling issues with my ex about this weekend with my daughter. If you need something definite, I'm out...but if it still happens there's a chance I can show up. I probably won't know for sure until tomorrow afternoon.
