GM's thread about nothing (38 Viewers)

unrelated, but frozen blueberries or frozen muscat grapes are pretty amazing
That's true.Expanding upon Guster's idea, frozen Thin Mints would be a contender.
:goodposting:
Or should I say... GB Krista, this is an excellent build on the post I made as frozen thin mints are probably even better frozen than anything I posted. I wish I had thought of that in my original post. Had I not been full of Miller High Life I might have stood a chance to get this, but likely probably would have still missed it and been pissed
tl;dr;)
And this is why I love you

I know I'm a food snob, but there's nothing quite like a Stouffer's french bread pizza.
As a general rule, the cheaper the frozen pizza, the more I will enjoy it. /antisnob
I'm not sure what to make of this. Stouffer's is cheap, right? Or at least that was my point. Frozen anything ain't my bag, but this is the exception. Just had a delicious meal for like $2.**Not including wine.
I was agreeing with you. Drink more wine. Everything is fine. :)
Whew. I was confused, yet only one glass of wine down. It must be the age. :(I'm trying to think of any frozen item that is anywhere near as good as that pizza. Answer: none.
Waffles FTW

using a chair in the shower sounds ideal for drinking showerbeers.

glll with your gout, shuke.
:goodposting: to both. Hope recovery goes wellIs arthritis something they can just scrape away?
Depends on where it is. My was mostly on the dorsal aspect of my joint. The big toe is one of the few places where arthritis can be relieved by going in and remvoing bone. Basically they cut the bone out of each side of the joint so they wouldn't hit each other when I extended my toe during walking.
You've been curiously quiet about the coshole, considering Austin is now your second home. Any way you can do a work funded trip around then?
Been quiet since I can't commit yet. What are the dates again?

Met with The Syndicate tonight. The $1000 Superbowl square card got bumped up to $2000 a square.

It sold out in 6 hours. Sort of puts that last post in perspective.

Ok, the First Annual GMTAN urukcoshole is confirmed.

Feb 1 (Friday) thru Feb 4 (Monday)

I am going to block out all available rooms at coshouse. This will give us 4 king Brs, 3 Queen Brs, two sleeper sofas and several cots or rollaways. Depending whether we have couples or homos willing to share a bed, I should be able to put up 10-15 guests. I have also contacted some nearby airbnb houses and YSR may ahve a friend with a house, too. So we can probably have up to about 20 guests total, including a couple of locals (Bentley, kevzilla, etc.)

I will get you picked up at the airport Friday and bring you back there Monday.

All meals, except Sat night dinner, and all booze is included.

I need to have eight paid commitments by 12/1/12 or I will need to pull the plug and cancel.

Cost will be $275 stag or $500 for a couple sharing a bed. Stags sleeping on a cot get another $50 discount.

Scholarships will be available if one of you want to come, but have cash issues. This will be strictly between you and me.

You can see the house at www.albertoaks.com, I have blocked out all rooms for SB weekend.

Friday - arrivals, airport pickups, getting settled into rooms.

Welcome bbq with beef brisket and pulled pork.

I will have cases of beer and wine and Margaritas set up for everyone to visit and relax after their journey.

Saturday - Big Brunch around 10-11

Sat afternoon - South Congress excursion

Sat early evening Happy hour

Sat dinner- Dinner at Matt's El Rancho

Sat night - Shuttle anyone who wants to go downtown/6th st./Congress Ave., others may want to hang out and visit/drink at coshouse

Sunday - Brunch around 10-11

Afternoon poker tournament and shuttles to local sites of interest

Late afternoon - SB Party begins - Whole smoked Prime Rib or NY Sirloin plus tons of other typical SB foods.

Also, big thank you to truck and whomever else steered me to HOU to complete my teaser last week.

Didn't get on our Bills tonight though.

Holy s###balls!!! 200 grand getting paid out on a block pool? I mean, 100k is nothing to sneeze at, but...but...ACHOO!!!

OK, so I've been playing that FanDuel thing for a while and after kind of figuring out what I was doing wrong, I won like 10 different bets in a row. Got my bank well over $200 after being down to my last 5 bucks.

And last week when I was putting my teams together, I almost posted here that the friggin place was like free money. I mean, I couldn't lose if I tried! But for some reason, superstition got the better of me and I decided not to jinx myself. And I even decided to up the ante and play in a few $25 games. Hence my results from Sunday:

99th out of 100

19th out of 20

2439th out of 2899

Good times! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I typed too much and my HQ just said I am still her BF. Good night. I may have also had a weed avalanche tonight. :bag:

Who, me? Are parent teacher conferences that important? Assuming that's what you are asking and you are asking it of me...Yeah, they are. Especially if your sons' mother hasn't attended a conference in 2 years. I don't want them having to watch both their mom AND their dad shrug off their conferences. I don't want their step-mom being the only one who shows up. I don't want the other parents in this very nice school thinking these two boys have two disinterested parents. I don't want that reputation. I don't want their teachers thinking the same thing. They are required to sit their and interact with us. Pretty crappy if they don't have their parents there to complete the process. I was late, but I was there. I can handle the bad rap for having crap for memory and forgetting appointments, but I don't want the label of absentee dad. You probably won't want that either.

Despite about 15 reminders, I forgot about Parent/Teacher conferences and was blithely unaware of this fact until I fielded a phone call on my bicycle from my less than pleased wife asking where I was. When I gleefully replied "heading home to you, babe" she said, with a screaming baby in the background, "did you forgot that we had conferences today".... I told her to go on without me and that I'd be there as SOON as possible. My friends, absent any steroids, I turned into Lance Forrest Armstrong and pedaled home like a man determined to see the inside of a vulva again. I threw the bike in the garage, hopped in a car and drove to school like Benny Hill chasing a female streaker. I parked like an Asian woman in a shopping mall and ran into the school like Shuke in a walking boot. I made it to the first conference late, panting like Guster after typing a paragraph and apologized profusely like Woz after a round of sex. I sat there absorbing the rest of the conference in, nodding affirmatively, asking germane questions and when it was all said and done, I hopped up like the confident CEO of a Fortune 500 company, shook the teacher's hand, and then looked down in horror at the little plastic chair my fat butt was occupying. And as I looked down, we ALL looked down and spied Lake Asssweat, a perfect ring of butt perspiration left behind by a man so embarrassed all he could do was grab a handful of Kleenex and wipe it all away before running down the hall in shame to the next conference, where I preferred to stand. :bag:
:X Your car seat must be pretty soaked.
Wife's car (now sold). :bowtie:

My HQ (HeadQuarter?) just said I am still her BF (boyfriend?)
HQ=Homecoming Queen
FYI, as Zooks and others throw out tons of jokes about banging your wife, I'm totally gonna do it. And the only way you'll know is by her disappointment in what you're bringing to the table. :boxing:
Oh she knows GB. She knows.
:pickle:Been a while since I played with some big ol' frontal accessories. :P :o   :banned:  :excited: :hophead:
