So I posted a link to a photoblog on FB. I also messaged the link to about 25 people including a bunch of old friends, some cousins, and a couple of FBGs. A huge collection of snapshots from the 1980s. It's actually pretty cool. The hair, clothes, bands, fads, cars etc.

I noticed that there were a few nude shots (chicks flashing, a polaroid or two of somebody's 80's squeeze) but nothing too terrible.

Then I get about 4 or 5 pages in...oops, hardcore. I mean they're still pics from the 80s but I felt a little weird knowing that I sent a link to my female cousin that includes a chick using a bottle for a good time.

I appreciate the heads up. I also want a time machine so I can punch myself in the balls circa 1988.

I mistakeningly invited a gal to lunch and she accepted. Stupid e-mail autofilling. Then she cancels because she wasn't going to be there but said her office of 8 likes Chik-Fil-A and I could bring food in for them.



Yes, I told her no.

Wait a minute, she cancels on lunch and then suggests that you feed 8 people in her office instead? WTF?

Balls huh? Oh and they owe me money. As cushy as this gig can be at times, I'm sick and ####### tired of it.

Thoughts and prayers

Ok - for any that don't know, my 2 year old niece Nora has stage 4 neuroblastoma. This is a cancer that starts in the adrenal glands and in her case has resulted in a large tumor in her abdomen and another in her skull. She's been through three rounds of chemo so far and after 6 months may have surgery to remove the abdominal tumor. Her original prognosis is that she has a 50/50 shot.

There is a benefit scheduled for her in August, with a raffle and silent auction. They are accepting silent auction items still I think. Link here

If you'd just like to donate to help out the family, you can do that here. That link also contains some more info about what she's going through.

Thanks to Mr. Pack and the rest of you that have or will pass along well wishes. We don't need to bog down the thread with them, we all cancer and it's family is a ####.

Update from my own niece just today (about 1 year since her initial surgery). Her last scan showed a new mass, and she had surgery a couple of weeks ago to remove it. :Looks like it was just more bits of the original tumor, rather than a new one.

06/27/13: At the Cancer Center, waiting for scripts, the Doctors ALL said GREAT news - NO NEW TUMOR!!!!! I'm so stinkin' excited!!!! Of course I still have brain cancer, blah blah blah, but at this point it's a matter of dodging each and EVERY possible bullet along the way. YAY!!!
