GM's thread about nothing (12 Viewers)

There were some hot chicks in here. Notably the Oregon cheerleaders who walked right past me on the street and much of the Texas coed section. Also enjoyed getting to drink beer in the stands at a college game.

However, the football was quite ####ty. They should have put Mack Brown down at halftime on the field. Also currently 34 minutes into trying to get out of the Alamodome parking lot.

I have no idea what a polish mistake is.
I'm Polish, have been to Poland, and never heard of these.
I've always known them as rye bread pizzas as a kid. Then I made a bunch of friends in Chicago and they all called them Polish Mistakes. They are freaking delicious. Perfect combination of chewy and crunchy. Mrs. SLB tops hers with mozzarella. If you tried one and said you didn't like it, you would be lying. Great drunk food and even better stoned food.

in 6 hours or so my wife is having a biopsy done on a mass in her left breast. she is easily one of the sweetest kindest people i have ever met. her mother died from breast cancer in her early 40's. she is terrified. i'm trying to hold it together.

i'll take any & all tpw's
Best of luck.

I've always known these as Hanky Panky; probably just the name my German ancestors made up after they took the recipe from the Poles.

Intoxicants aside, I'm powerless around them. I walk into a party, see them on the table and proactively loosen the belt a notch.

:goodposting: LD knows stuff. Really wish she would have made them tonight. :kicksrock:

Mrs. SLB is making rye bread pizzas, aka Polish Mistakes, tomorrow. I can't wait. How GM doesn't love them is baffling. I even sent him all of the stuff to make them.
If these are what I think they are, they are awesome.

Too bad I'm gong on the 4th day of a damn stomach flu bug.

This sucks

It's been handled #######s. I'm not going. And I didn't get the thread clipped last week either. ####### judgmental #######s.
I'm not kidding that I didn't see anything wrong with this idea. It's just a couple of days and she will have plenty of help and attention.

Obviously I have not had kids so am apparently am an idiot when it comes to these things. Double
Now you know how I feel when you start talking about contracts and CFOs and in-house counsels and all that other businessy stuff.
Makes sense.

Ate my mom's meatloaf tonight. Twas a mistake.
I hope to god this isn't a euphemism.

:lmao: TF> hey

Do we have anybody here that is close enough to Redmond, WA to have a corn hole on Feb 13? I'm trying to decide how badly I want to go on this trip.

Pros: Never been to Washington, never been invited to a Microsoft thing, love to travel.

Cons: My 2nd kid is being born a week before.

They only let one person from each org go so its either me or my boss. But he went last year. And before anyone gives me #### about the kid being born, my wife will not be by herself as her very large family will probably move in for a couple weeks. A 2 day outing to Washington would probably be welcome relief.
I work in Redmond. Very in.

edit: I see you're getting destroyed for this idea. I'll pull for an early birth.

Next few posts are going to be disappointing for you

Pros:

1. Never been to Washington

2. Microsoft SWAG!

3. Potential cornhole with Pacific NW fbgs

4. Free food and booze!

5. Hot Microsoft interns

Cons:

1. Balls ripped violently from body and fed to dogs with a nice Bearnaise.
I have a good friend/little fraternity brother who worked for Dell for 10 years. He moved from Austin to Seattle/Kirkland because his biggest client was Microsoft. He spent a great deal of his time on that campus. Few things I learned: 1) Msft is incredibly cheap. 2) Not a whole hell of a lot of hot anywhere. 3) They will soul suck you for every last damn cent out of every deal you try to make with them. 4) Vipul is a more common first name on campus than Bill.
This is spot on
