GM's thread about nothing (80 Viewers)

Took The Terrorist screaming down to the couch around 3am. Off to work soon. I'm starting to feel like that guy in the Metallica "One" video. I'd like someone to put me out of my misery but I'm not quite sure how to communicate it.

HAPPY MONDAY GMTAN
:lmao:

Keep your ear to the grindstone, buddy.

HAPPY MONDAY GMTAN
We had a rough weekend too and I'm sure it's because on more than one occasion last week I thought to myself, "my kid sure is a lot better at sleeping then Otis's kid!"

Tpw oat.

Just got back from taking daughter to eye doctor. After a couple years of patching and she's still exhibiting exotropia, doctor is recommending surgery. I think we are going to get a second opinion from doctor at main campus of Children's. The only reason we stopped seeing her is because she went on medical leave about a year ago but is back now I guess.

Damn. Good luck Shukette.

My diet yesterday was nothing but Bloody Mary garnish.
This broad I know is vacationing in NOLA this week (she and her husband go at least twice a year). She posts on FB about it every 36 minutes. One of her pics was of some "world famous" bloody mary with 4lbs of garnish including a damn shrimp. Somebody replied with "that looks like a backed-up sink". :lmao:

That would have been nice. Mine consisted of olives and pickles. Not even a damn celery stalk.

I might market this as the latest / greatest diet fad. I got on the scale today and was down about 5 pounds due to booze influenced dehydration

also ran into an ex girlfriend yesterday. She's now divorced and was at the bar with her girlfriend.

I probably had 4 serious girlfriends in my life.

1 I married

2 now swing the other way

1 I haven't seen or talked to in 25 years, so I have no idea if she's clamming.

one of the boys has this as well. Was the eye being patched getting stronger with each visit? Last visit we were told to patch longer (1.5 hours/day). He goes back in a few weeks.

Phrases I thought I'd never stumble across in my meanderings on the intertubes....

Manage My Inmate List
To add new inmates, first select the Correctional Agency, then enter their inmate number or enter your identification code.

I wasn't paying close attention as I'm mired in tax hell, but did I hear we could have a second-round matchup between Our Ducks and Our Badgers?
Yup. Should be a fun game.
They're going to do a "Who Has The Whitest Fans?" contest at halftime, where three people from each team are picked at random, a huge kleig light is shone upon them, and then they have to try and burn a hole in the floor with the reflection. Wisky's an early favorite at -145.

:excited: It's back!

I'm also SHOCKED K4 doesn't have a CPA.
My Dad was a CPA, so that probably influenced my feeling that I can and should do this myself.
Oh it isn't that I didn't think you were capable, I just figured you wouldn't want to screw with it. I used to do it myself with Turbo Tax but I always felt like I was missing deductions or somethings. If your Dad was a CPA, with you lawyer skillz and all too, I'm sure you don't feel this way.

Personally I like not having to do it and I really like having an extra layer of accountability in there.

ETA

I just figured it was kind of like how almost everybody in my neighborhood has a lawn service. Except me of course. I like to do it plus I'm kind of cheap when it comes to stuff like that.

I recall. We have been off and on patching for almost 3 years now. There is some improvement during times of patching, but when we stop she regresses. So in this doctor's opinion, it is time for surgery before her brain becomes too accustomed, as I guess it will be harder to correct as she gets older. She doesn't have vision problems, but she has stereo-something problems, she can't pick out 3D objects.

So I'm leaving for the doctor in about 10 minutes. This is the big appointment where they do some bloodwork, measure everything on the baby, etc. I'm really, really nervous for some reason. I have no reason to think that anything is wrong, but I've been anxious about this for about a week now. This isn't even an asking-for-TPW situation, because I don't necessarily have anything bad that I'm going through, but if you're in the mood to send some positive juju in the air today, I'd appreciate it.

gotcha....best of luck. from everything i hear (and assuming it's the same type of surgery), it should take care of everything and is pretty routine. Although that's easy to read than actually going through with it for a child.

So like depth perception problems or like "can't see those stupid magic pictures at the mall" problem?

It's time to play Decipher That Text.

From my wife, who is looking for possible causes of the dog's diarrhea:

"I chord w a log but tennis me tonight we should throw them out. Could be the culprit."

...and that will bring up Garcia-Vega. Porfillio is batting .224 this month against right-handers with runners with beards in scoring position. Feltersnatch looks back Vitalis on third...from the stretch...low and outside for ball one. The Buckos travel to Des Moines tomorrow to catch Foghat at the State Fair and then they have 17 road games in 6 days against St. Louis, Milwaukee, Mobile, and, oddly enough, themselves. Check-swing foul for strike one. Remember fans: Tuesday the 26th is 'Ticket Stub Night'. The first 5000 fans through the gates get to keep half of their ticket. Fun for the whole family.
