New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (ankle) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Sept. 15, after injuring his ankle in Week 1, reports Ohm Youngmisuk, of ESPNNewYork.com.
Last year, Manningham caught on fire then suffered a lingering injury that set him back compared to Smith and Nicks.
This is nothing to worry about yet -- good move for the Giants to keep this budding star rested and healthy -- but ankle injuries can be tricky and ongoing for a WR. Def. worth monitoring.
agree he is listed as probable and they said he played thru the inj so it must have occurred early in the game. If he can score 3 tds on a bum ankle I wonder what he could do 100 percent... He should be fine
Careful guys, you are getting dangerously close to committing heresy against the almighty Jermichael Finley. Only He can put up numbers like this, the only reason He didn't this week is because He didn't want to. Don't forget that.

He can't be listed as probable at the moment because the official game designations don't come out until after Friday practice. So if some place is listing him as probable for Week 2, that's complete speculation and no more than a guess at this point.
