I actually drink my Gin with Sprite or 7Up. :bag:

Can't drink it neat. Pine tar taste is just too overpowering then.
Gin is the original flavored vodka and tonic is just high sugar, high calorie soda like Sprite. A thread about G&T's isn't a thread to be embarrassed in any more than you'd be embarrassed about drinking your Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey with Coke.

I can only guess people put on airs when it comes to G&T's because those sophisticated Brits drink them, but there's not much cause for it.

I like gin, but we're not talking about a 20 year old single barrel bourbon here.
Go buy a bottle of Nolet's Reserve and report back

I love how chet's contributions to the FFA yesterday were about appropriate garnishes to g&t's and outrage over how someone does a street trials bike move on a parked Lamborghini.

Does it get more chet than that?

I noticed that too. Makes it easier to read it all getting Thurston Howell accent

I kinda do the same thing in my mind. But TH was a luxury box kinda guy; Chet's a front row ringside kinda guy. I picture a fishing reel pinky ring.

If you haven't had a Gin and Tonic made with Tonic Syrup you are missing out big time.

This brand is ridiculous. You'll never use bottled Tonic Water again.
Agreed. I haven't tried yours, but I'm sure it's delicious. Here's another one, that I use:

These are also excellent, if you aren't inclined to mix your own...

John's Tonic Syrup is also fantastichttp://johnstonic.weebly.com/how-it-is-made.html
