Hines Ward - Biggest dork in the NFL (1 Viewer)

It's not "overblown"...it's Steeler-haters trying to rain down on our parade.
What parade? The Steelers parade has been over since 1981, guy.
The discussion centers on a division rivalry. In this division, the Steelers parade is pretty much always in full swing.
The Atlanta Braves say Hi ;)
Yeah cuz we all know that the Red Sox are still playing too...oh wait nevermind.
:lmao: You stillers fans are so fun sometimes. The red sox don't win the division every year then blow it in the playoffs.

It's called context... look it up
Sox titles in the past 85 years + Pats Dynasty = Steelers Dynasty

This is lame: I just wonder what I'll see next week"Man, CJ suxors because he doesn't dance anymore."or "Man, LT shouldnt celebrate like CJ, he's a copycat and suxors anyway."Get over it people- like it or not the players will do what they want.

Its like when your out with yo honey at the club. There's always that one dude ... that one guy, him, that simply cant dance. You there and you dont need television cause you got lame-duck dancer vision, all over the dance floor. He starts with the running man, moves into the roger-rabbit ... busts through a few monkey grabs, sprinkler head and reverse sprinkler head. Just when you thought he was done, he finishes with the butter churn. Not just the simple churning, the reverse churn and inverted churn.GB Hines Ward

I have an idea... let's play a game where we pick really odd numers of years that happen to suit our arguement. Red Sox/Patriots titles > Piittsburg Titles

Over the last 20 years Patriots Titles > Pittsburg titles

Over the history of the Franchise : Red Sox Titles > Pittsburgh Titles

Face it... the Stillers are a shadow of what they once were and have been a non-factor in the playoffs over the last couple decades.

talk about another overblown situation here on the boards.  I wonder if the Steelers got the CJ check mark yesterday...
Doubt it. He's going to check "NO" no matter what - the Jaguars easily should have gotten a yes, but didn't.
Johnson claimed a technically in keeping his infamous cornerbacks checklist clean. "Ike's really not on the list," Johnson said.

That's an honor that had been reserved for Deshea Townsend, but yesterday's performance might have been enough to at least get Taylor on next season's scorecard.

"On a serious note, he's very good," Johnson said. "Let me stop playing; Ike Taylor is very good. I came into the game thinking it would be very easy, to tell you the truth. And he made me go into my bag of tricks, which is a good thing for the opponent. Therefore, he's in a class of his own.

"He's good, fast, quick. I did everything I could to make the plays that I did."

Ike is poised to make The Leap. I have expected big things out of this kid since they drafted him, but he was so raw, it's taken a few years for him to learn the NFL game.I anticipate that he could be a Pro Bowler as soon as next season. The only question is : who is going to be the long-term answer on the other side? McFadden? Colclough? Deshea?
McFadden played tough yesterday. I like him to be the patroling the other side once he gets ahold of the pro game.

GB Hines Ward
Except in this case he pushes you around, slams you to the ground a few times, and scores with "yo honey" in front of all of your family.GB Hines Ward!

Only mock someones dance if your playing against them in that same week

ie. Keenan McCardell doing the waiter thing after Owens did it.
Good point. It would have been OK for Ward to mock Johnson if the Steelers had played the Bengals this week. ;)

I think both Chad and Hines are Grade A individuals. Both of them have tremendous work ethic and dedication to the game and their teams.I get the Hines envy in this thread--he's a great dude, but I don't get why all you haters let it be so obvious. :hophead:

Ive seen Hines Ward do two TD celebrations in the endzone. The first celebration I saw was Hines Ward doing the "eagle" vs Philadelphia last season when the Steelers blew out the Eagles. The second celebration I have ever seen Hines Ward perform was "the riverdance" versus Cincinnati this weekend when Pit was beating the Bengals.

Dear Hines,

Either get some original schtick or stop swinging from other players ideas about celebrating in the endzone. In my opinion, you look like someone who is reveling in rubbing someone elses nose what you have just done, while the other players are trying to put on a show. In addition, you have no rhythm or finesse in your "dance skillz", you way want to consider some lessons.

Nice comeback. I guess you've got no rebuttal the the fact that the Stillers are a shadow of their former selves and have been a nonfactor in the playoffs over the last couple decades

How could a Steeler Fan argue with a Pats fan when they have TOTAL OWNAGE over them at Heinz Filed no less in the Playoffs. And the "Mock" dance is nothing other than ENVY. He isn't as good as CJ and can't touch TO's skills on his best day. He's the highest paid Tight End in the NFL. A good blocking Tight End with a 12 yard per catch career average. He gets ONE big play per year. Antonio Gates will overtake him soon as the best TE in Football.

I wouldnt want to give my opponent the satisfaction of knowing I saw what he did when he was in the endzone. I would have pretended it never happeend so he knew it didnt get to me.

Wow, the Steelers homers are starting to resemble the "whiners".

what a shame
Whining is when you complain about something. Seems to me it is the Steeler-haters that were complaining about Hines Ward: "you have no rhythm or finesse in your dance skillz"

"Hiney Ward is not original"

"Pointing the finger at other players does not excuse Hines Ward"

"If they woulda counted that TD Chad had"

Steelers fans were only defending him. Then the Steeler haters bring up the Braves, Red Sox and Patriots like that had anything to do with the original thread.

So because your team beat the Steelers at Heinz Field a couple times we're supposed to bow down to you? :lmao: Get a grip, it is not like you had anything to do with it.This whole thread is stupid. It starts off complaining that Hines Ward isn't original and when it is pointed out that he was just mocking his fellow WRs it spins off in a bunch of directions but ends up with Patriot fans beating their chests like that has anything to do with Hines Ward and his TD celebration last week.

I'm really not sure anyone is coming off as a whiner here. The original post seems a lot more like whining to me.

easy turbo... the Steelers fans were the ones who brought up the Red Sox and Patriots.... I commented that they've had nothing doing in the post season and several of the towelheads became aware that I had a Red Sox avatar. Since they had no rebuttal for the fact that all their prancing about the Shark Pool is pointless (as the stillers will once again make the playoffs and fall on their faces), they decided to come up with a highly original, relevant comeback like "Well, it'll be another 85 years for the Red Sox" :excited:

Good Stuff

Go read the thread again. It was you that first brought up a team other than the Steelers and Bengals (Braves) which has nothing to do with the topic of the thread. And the guy that mentioned the Red Sox (harrycarey) wasn't a Steelers fan. Believe me, no one from Pittsburgh is going to take a shot at the Red Sox when the Pirates haven't had a winning season since 1992!
