or three& Bush falls to 4
New Orleans will likely trade down. Who will come up to get Bush!! #2 pick is much cheaper than #1.& Bush falls to 4
No way. Saints either take Bush, or charge someone a kings ransome for the #2or three& Bush falls to 4
ABsolutely - kinda makes me sad I do not have Domanick Davis on any teamWow!!!! Awsome!!!!
NFL Network reporting Saints have already said Bush is available for trade. For the right price of course. They may also use this to leverage Brick to sign before the draft. No way. Saints either take Bush, or charge someone a kings ransome for the #2or three& Bush falls to 4
W(hy)TF do the Saints take Bush over D'Brickshaw? Does a RB named Deuce McAllister ring a bell? He's leaps and bounds better than Dom Davis so it's not even close to the same situation the Texans were in....No way. Saints either take Bush, or charge someone a kings ransome for the #2or three& Bush falls to 4
They took Deuce having Ricky...The Saints can't take Bush since they have Deuce, right?
This will make the draft THAT much more entertaining... at least the predraft hype.ABsolutely - kinda makes me sad I do not have Domanick Davis on any teamWow!!!! Awsome!!!!
nope - only the team with the first pick is allowed to negotiate with players before the draftNFL Network reporting Saints have already said Bush is available for trade. But which RB's plummets?Dominic Davis's fantasy value rises from the dead.
How the heck do you SIGN multiple players to a contract????I'm still sceptical. They could have deals with all the top players, all that matters is who they actually select tomorrow.
This could still be a negotiation ploy with Bush.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am taking the headline on NFL.com as it is signed and completed. Meaning they can't back out now.I'm still sceptical. They could have deals with all the top players, all that matters is who they actually select tomorrow.

I doubt NFL will allow a team to get an agreement with a player to be drafted #1 and then pick another...I'm still sceptical. They could have deals with all the top players, all that matters is who they actually select tomorrow.

yes - but the Texans are only allowed to negotiate with the #1 pick...Is there not a chance that someone has worked out a deal with the Texans for Williams and will swap them picks? Maybe the Jets at 4? I can see someone trading up for a pick they thought might not be there after 2 or 3 and the Texans taking BPA plus a few picks later in the draft.
Not true, this is a signed deal, it isn't the same as making contract offers. This is a done deal, the guy is signed. Just heard that on NFL Network as well.I'm still sceptical. They could have deals with all the top players, all that matters is who they actually select tomorrow.

Odds are he ends up on a better team now.Bush =
Yes, they sure did. Only, they didn't select Deuce with the first overall pick in the draft. Barring a trade, I don't see how the Saints don't take Brick. He is exactly what that team needs to protect their new QB and franchise RB's, both coming off injuries.Which begs the question, is it possible that Bush falls all the way down to the Jets? They took Deuce having Ricky...The Saints can't take Bush since they have Deuce, right?
He is having a really, really bad Friday night right now...Bush =
With them likely moving to LA? This almost seals the deal for the move now.New Orleans will likely trade down.& Bush falls to 4

does "agree" = "sign"Couldn't a team "agree" with a lot of players in principle without signing them?Says Breaking News: TEXANS AGREE TO DEAL WITH MARIO WILLIAMS
I haven't seen the reports, but is this thread's subject misleading? Is there really a signed deal?I'm still sceptical. They could have deals with all the top players, all that matters is who they actually select tomorrow.

Its a signed contract. Bush just lost a lot of money. Let that be a lesson to those who are to greedy.Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am taking the headline on NFL.com as it is signed and completed. Texans sign Williams April 28, 2006HoustonTexans.com HOUSTON - The Houston Texans have signed North Carolina State DE Mario Williams and plan to take him with the first overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. Williams becomes the second Texans number one pick in team history.
Because legally speaking until you actually draft the player he is not yours. What you are signing is a pre-draft agreement.Obviously that agreement would not be valid if the player is not drafted.I remember the Browns - the year they took Couch - came to agreements with Akili Smith and I think another player as well. It was all basically a ploy to force Couch's price down. How the heck do you SIGN multiple players to a contract????

OK, then officially, "holy crap."From Texans website:

Dude, they have Michael Bennett!!New Orleans should take Bush for all the same reasons Houston should have. This guy is so special, I cant beleive they passed up on him, Sean Payton is an offensive guy, trying to put together a winner. I like ##### McSuckister just as much as the next guy but he is an injury concern and they have no legitimate depth behind him. They should take him and never look back.
Brees
McSuckister
Bush
Horn
Stallworth
TE in the second....
This could be a potent offense.
Want some real EXCITEMENT. If Bush is there at #4 and the Jets pass for a QB there could be a riot in NY.As a Saints fan,
We either get Bush, or trade the pick to the Jets or 49ers for loads of picks and still get an elite player. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
