In keeper leagues, do you find yourself keeping players that you like less than others simply because they are able to be kept at a low price (late round pick, or low auction $).
Fantasy football is all about value. Calvin is awesome. He's not so awesome at 50% of your cap. Michael Floyd is intriguing. He's not intriguing as a 1st round keeper. Kenny Britt is a favorite in the hater column, but at $1, he might be one of your best values.
In short, think of your players as stocks. If you're deciding between two of approximately equal value, then go with who you like. But if one is a better value, you're throwing money away if you choose the other.
