Yes, they have had since Sunday to make a decision. I am kinda confused as to why so many people are defending the NFL here.
I said before and I'll say again, you can care about peopel and think the NFL jacked this up.
As a Katrina survivor I have earned the right to say this... the world didnt stop when the storm was hitting us...it doesnt stop because its hitting Florida.
Might sound callus, but its true. It wont stop just because you want the world to have sympathy. NFL will exist and we cant expect 30 other teams and player to change their life because a storm effect a team or two. It is also true some people just dont care about Florida one little bit and they want their football. Are they wrong? While its not my belief, do those people in Florida care about the wildfires in California? I would guess many dont, they may say so because they know they have to show compassion publicly, but do they really care? No they dont, they have their own issues like everyone. I have even been on Twitter asking about the LA games and if they will be ppd or moved, those same beat writer caring about a Hurricane do not care about those fires.
We all have a need to preface everything we say to protect ourselves from criticism because if we say anything like I just did, it appears you dont care.
