I LOVE Adam Schiff! (1 Viewer)

MSNBC and CNN are supposed to be a NEWS sources.
News sources are not supposed to be opinion sources.
You are supposed to form your own opinions based on the news that is delivered.
The fact that any part of the MSM even have opinions is totally contradictory.

What opinion sources (such as Tucker Carlson) do, is to put the hypocrisy of those "news" sources on display.
You'll notice that just about every one of Carlson's clips are formulated around "news" clips.

Basically, it is not "news" when "news sources" lie and/or are bias in their reporting.
People like Carlson simply point it out.
MSNBC and CNN have nothing to do with the discussion that was being had...nor do they make Tucker Carlson any more or less credible as a source of information.  His video you linked to is not a news link...its his biased opinion.

Stations like that have opinion shows and news shows...just as Fox does...that is part of the business.

They all have both.  Its not hard to separate the two things.

Every news source has an opinion page or part of its site...every single one of them.  Yes...all of them have and are supposed to have opinions as well.  Its not a big issue.

His own hypocrisy is quite funny in this...as where does Tucker broadcast?  FoxNews.

Yes...he formulates from clips...parsed out of context intended to make the worst possible view so the people that think like him are validated.  he is trying to form your opinion for you based on cherry picked clips.  You get that?

He no more points things out than the opinion sides of MSNBC or CNN (which both, again, have zero to do with the discussion of Adam Schiff...or the credibility of Tucker Carlson)

At best they are some deflection...especially since there wasn't anyone actively using them as a source for anything. MSNBC mostly sucks...same with CNN.  Great...good job.  What does that have to do with Schiff or how bad Tucker Carlson is?  Absolutely nothing.

If it was proven Schiff was lying and all that time and money was wasted would you demand he step down?
Step down for lying in the media?

Also...what do you consider proof that it was all wasted...we know what Mueller stated both about Russian interference and contacts between them and the Trump campaign.  We know the indictments that could and did come out of it.  We know the investigation was valid based on the Horowitz report.

So if lying to the media is grounds to step down...how many others should we then demand step down?

It is impossible to separate the two things...obivously.
If you voice your opinion on a news network...you have sacrificed the news for your opinion.

...and I pointed out that Carlson is on FoxNews.

The point is that "news reporting" and "opinion sharing" should not, and do not belong together.
If you feel that they can coexist...then you are simply too lazy to find out for yourself.

no...but deliberate lying FROM the media should not be tolerated or accepted.

Its actually not hard at all to separate opinion from news.

The point is...that is your opinion that it should all be on separate stations.  I disagree...as do many others.

So what...what on earth does that have to do with anything related to Schiff or Carlson's credibility or lack thereof?

Ok cool...you going to hold your buddy Tucker Carlson to that same standard now since you have now deflected to lying from the media?
You show me one example of Carlson lying about or misreported the MSM and I'll look into it.

Saints just tried it a minute ago.

If you notice...Carlson's schtick is to show a clip from the MSM and show what that didn't report or how they changed the narrative...and he always uses other clips to prove it.
What he does is to let you hear both sides from both parties then shows the hypocrisy of the original reporting.

I won't notice much of anything...Carlson is a biased hack that should not be trusted to do much of anything.

As for his lies?

Let's see if you're interested in this. I kind of doubt it.

To begin with....

ODNI director tells Schiff to release Russia transcripts, hints that if Schiff doesn't ODNI might - May 6, 2020

In a newly released letter to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, acting Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Richard Grenell urges the California Democrat to release 53 transcripts of interviews that the committee conducted with witnesses during the Russia investigation.

Grenell's encouragement to release the transcripts comes after reports that Rep. Schiff (D-Calif.) has been holding up the public release of the transcripts, despite a unanimous vote taken in September 2018 to do so.

"In the interests of transparency and accountability, I urge you to honor your previous public statements, and your Committee's unanimous vote on this matter, to release all 53 cleared transcripts to all Members of Congress and the American public as soon as possible," Grenell wrote to Schiff.

Grenell stops short of announcing that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence will release the transcripts if Congress continues to stall on the action. But he alluded to that as a possibility for the future, should Schiff fail to comply.

"I am also willing to release the transcripts directly from the ODNI to ensure we comply with unanimous and bipartisan vote to release the transcripts," the acting director also said.

On Tuesday, House Republicans sent Schiff a similar letter demanding a prompt release of the transcripts that have been held up for nearly two years.

Maybe that's why Carlson gave that impression.

This is usually the result if you look for yourself to form your own opinions instead of relying on what you heard from the MSM.
It took less than two minutes to look this up.
Thanks, couple things.

The transcripts Grenell had already released show that he REDACTED already public information that was damaging to Trump. So perhaps Schiff has good reason to review Grenell's work. If you don't believe me look at the example I posted further up.

Secondly, even Grenell admitted he was withholding transcipts, you can see in that report and the ones linked within that were 10+ (I guess 14 since 43 were previously released and we have 57) which Grenell had never released. It was right to demand all of them be released.

Also...who is it withholding the Mueller transcripts?

The FBI started the investigation into Russia/Trump ties after being aware of over 100 meetings between Trump officials and known Russian operatives.  The Mueller report details them.  Right now Flynn was paid by Russia for speeches, there are photos of him with Putin, he lied to at least 5 officials about his conversations with the Russian Ambassador after Trump was elected, where he discussed president-elect Trump lifting Russian sanctions, Trump openly asked for Russia's help at a rally and recently told ABC news he welcomes Russia's help this year, the Trump family and his top campaign, political and national security officials met with the Commies in Trump Tower 1 floor below Trump's office etc. etc.  That is collusion in the normal sense of the word - look it up in the dictionary.  Mueller was talking about the law against collusion and what is required to put someone in jail for it.
