FLA freshman pitcher Keagan Rothrock went to the same high school as our kids so watching her beat Oklahoma yesterday and end their 20-game WCWS streak was pretty awesome. Doing it twice in a row is going to be super tough though.

"Rothrock was ranked as the nation's No. 1 prospect by Extra Inning Softball coming out of high school and has been committed to Florida since she was a seventh grader."

They were reviewing to see if there was "malicious intent" by the fielder since the collision was up high.

They announced review for obstruction first, since the umpire called it then came back with the malicious intent.....they weren't very clear lol

And wouldn't malicious intent be on the runner? Malicious intent is usually a runner not trying to avoid a collision

They changed the recruitment rules in 2018 because of stuff like this. pressure and recruiting of 12-14 year olds. Glad it worked out for her
