The Nashville Tennessean confirms Jake Locker's Lisfranc injury requires surgery.
It's the same injury that ended Matt Schaub's 2011. It's not a minor ailment, but Locker should be ready in plenty of time for next summer's training camp.

Titans placed QB Jake Locker on injured reserve with a right Lisfranc injury, ending his season.
Locker will likely undergo surgery in the near future. This is Locker's first trip to injured reserve, but means he'll have appeared in just 18 of a possible 32 games since the start of last season. Locker took an undeniable step forward this year, but did so in a vanilla offense. The Titans appeared loath to put much on their third-year quarterback's plate. In addition to being injury prone, Locker remains extremely streaky as a passer. He'll likely be back as the Titans' starter next season, but that could change for an organization that might undergo sweeping changes in the offseason.
