As you are with your endless crappy threads insinuating you know how the other side thinks.

jon_mx,

You are being baited and bracketed. They aren't going to see your point or position or try to see the world through your viewpoint or inside your shoes, they just want to keep trying to incite you to get you banned.

Don't argue, simply post links to articles, videos, analysis, stats, etc, etc that hold your position. Facts are the kind of weight that cognitive dissonance cannot hold up above the line of reality for long.

When you see you are being baited, simply wait 10 minutes between each reply.

Let their anger run hot, it uses them. Let your anger run cold, this is you choosing to never be used at all. This is how you weaponize actual passion.

Your conservative brothers here need you unbanned and ice cold.

So you are saying deflecting blame from Trump or the rioters isn’t a great starting point?

Though assuredly unintentional, you did ultimately bait me and get me banned for a time!  It’s all good though. 👍

Being baited..someone who continues to downplay and bring things up about that day is not being baited.  He has brung up these things on his own.  That isn't baiting him.

Your bait is weak. Your Kung Fu is weak.

It would be easy to try to label all conservatives and all Republicans over the Capitol Riots/Protests, but it's just not that simple.

I did not reply to you to try to change your mind. I choose to reply for all the conservatives who never post but want to and want to find their voice here at FBG.

I have no problem with traditional liberals. I urge my conservative brothers to embrace them. Different views on how to solve common problems. However there's a big difference between a traditional liberal and a clearly jilted woked out cancel culture lefty simping manlet looking to troll out conservatives for sport. Any of them want to try low value hit and runs on conservatives will have to go through me first.

Son, it's your choice if you want to stand on the tracks when this train is coming through. But rest assured, this train is coming through.

You know what I like best about you bigbottom?

Most people objectify me because of my devastating good looks and natural charisma that elevates into show stopping personal force.

You however objectify me because of my God level humility.

It's a credit to your level of self actualization to not just follow the crowd.

( I value your contributions here at FBG. Perhaps you and I can both decide here and now to set an example for the others. That a hard line conservative and a non hard line conservative can openly dialogue and agree to disagree without bloodshed and rancor. That a fair question should merit a fair and thoughtful response.  I genuinely wish you well, bigbottom )

How exactly would you label this?

In order to defend Biden, you'll have to acknowledge the millions who had nothing to do with the Capitol Riots. But that's not the direction where many are trying to take this thread, is it?

I actually don't agree with absolutely everything jon_mx said, but he has a point. Some of you leftists want to take the position that if you don't agree with 100 percent of what you hear, then it's all the justification you need to eliminate the very idea that someone could actually have a valid point anyway.

You're still standing on the tracks, son.

Take a moment from your model train set and read slowly

Jan 6th rioters are despicable traitors. If you want to justify their actions I can't take you seriously and sincerly hope you are just killing time on an anonymous message board. It is hard to overstate the amount of blame Donald Trump deserves in his role in this as he direct this tragedy with his lies and misinformation. This coming from the outgoing President is truly frightening and one of our lowest points in some time as a nation.

Please join me in denouncing them both.

I had never heard this Biden story. Not sure your point.

That if you enter a house chamber illegally you get arrested?
I assume so. Wasn’t sure the point really. In his essay about not lumping all conservatives with the criminals from Jan 6th he talks about Biden being arrested there as if that is relevant.

For all the young men here at FBG, here is a working lesson for you.

What The General is doing isn't making a substantive argument about the Capitol Riots, he's trying to take control of the narrative of the entire thread. He's just not skilled enough to actually do it.

When faced with cognitive dissonance, don't try to negotiate. Simply present your case and let the weight of that do the work for you. You'll notice The General is trying to set an precursor to justify future ad hominem. But this lines up to his methodology. If he can't deny your points, he'll deny you as a person. This mindset is how ethnic cleansing actually starts and is justified in it's embryo form.

Oh, BTW, Bank Of America decided the privacy of people in DC wasn't relevant anymore. Adhering  to their own TOS? So what. Because it has to do it's part to add to the broth of open purity tests.

The traditional liberals here need to ask themselves a question. When the conservatives are lined up against a wall and are executed, what happens to you and your privacy when the purity tests come for you? When your phone calls are being recorded and your emails are being read and you have a choice between repeating a loyalty oath or having a hood being dragged over your face.

If you don't understand something, then it can't possibly be relevant to anyone else. That's the best you got?

The question then poses itself - What else don't you understand?

Then the next question arises - How long will others need to be taxed because you don't understand?

Oh, BTW, it looks like some leftists in the highly contested Georgia wanted to breach inside their Capitol building too. But let's not have the leftist MSM cover this context at all. Why do that when there's the heavy lifting needed elsewhere to blame 74 million for the acts of a few thousand.

If there are two sets of rules, what happens when some leftists find out that system will eventually apply against them as well?

What happens when the progressives and the traditional liberals here and out there are no longer useful to the "cause"?

I think the only thing missing from Jan 6 was a screening of Birth of a Nation to bring everyone closer together.

U.S. authorities have arrested and charged two men with assaulting U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian D. Sicknick with bear spray during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot but have not determined whether the exposure caused his death.

Julian Elie Khater, 32, of Pennsylvania, and George Pierre Tanios, 39 of Morgantown, W.Va., were arrested Sunday and are expected to appear in federal court Monday

“Give me that bear s---,” Khater allegedly said to Tanios on video recorded at the Lower West Terrace of the Capitol at 2:14 p.m., where Sicknick and other officers were standing guard behind metal bicycle racks, arrest papers say.

About nine minutes later, after Khater said he had been hit with bear spray, Khater is seen on video discharging a canister into the face of Sicknick and two other officers, arrest papers allege.

Khater and Tanios are charged with nine counts including assaulting Sicknick, a U.S. Capitol Police officer identified as C. Edwards and a D.C. police officer identified as B. Chapman with a deadly weapon. They are also charged with civil disorder and obstruction of a Congressional proceeding. The charges are punishable by up to 20 years in prison

You know what no one is allowed to see on social media? That a few thousand don't represent 74 million. But that doesn't fit the narrative. So let's just make sure no one is able to lay down any context whatsoever.

I've seen ethnic cleansing up close. The reality of that kind of situation is the average soldier is not capable of doing it. Not capable of picking up a rifle and shooting his fellow countrymen. It creates all kinds of psychological damage and morale problems down the road. So they put hoods on them and gag them. So no one can hear their screams. Then they bury them alive. Saves on ammunition. Saves on labor. Force them to dig their own graves then force them to walk into those graves. If they are gagged, they can't scream. And if you don't hear the voices, it's easier to pretend those aren't human beings being eradicated.

Removing context is how you process cattle.

Many of you traditional liberals here should think about who's next. Since the left took over Big Education, the pipeline for future conservatives has shrunk. After we've all been gagged and buried alive, don't pretend it will stop at burning copies of To Kill A Mockingbird. The jackboots will throw your kids on top of that public bonfire.

First you delete evidence. Then you delete language. What you've done is delete context. Then you just save time and effort and start deleting people who disagree.

A lot of bouncing around and  cherry picking going on this thread. I am wondering when it gets back to several key questions.

-Who asked the rioters to come to the Capital on January 6th?

             President Trump

-Why did he ask them to come and what did he want VP Pence to do that he had no power to do?

Reject the the legitimate results of the 2020 election attacking perhaps the most sacred processes and important duties that Congress has...to officially count the electoral college vote and proceed with the peaceful transfer of power if the incumbent loses.

- What was President Trump’s initial  response the first few hours to the terrorists that attacked the Capital?

“Go home ,We love you, you are very special “ and a lot more gibberish about the big lie and a fraudulent election.

If 74 million still support President Trump after all that we have identified the problem and they are it. Way too many still do but it’s not 74 million

BTW....FBI Director Wray”We have not seen, to date, any evidence of anarchist violent extremist or people who subscribe to Antifa in connection with Jan. 6."

Indeed. A bank following the law is hardly newsworthy. Seems like we heard for conservatives for years that if you aren't doing anything wrong, you don't have anything to hide.

I suspect the gaggle of lefty lawyers on site will stay silent. The scope of this data pull is extremely broad. There are provisions for exigent circumstances for law enforcement regarding data, but does anyone believe this situation qualifies?

You've managed to do the impossible. You've taken generations of suffering, bloodshed and sacrifice for the civil rights we should, in theory, have today, and trampled them in a mere two sentences. This is not about conservatives and Republicans you don't like, this is actually about Americans and limits of intrusion on personal liberty.

From a legal standpoint, BofA customers were not notified. At all. Nor given an opportunity to challenge/appeal. Signing a TOS is not a blank check for a financial institution to ride the line on the RFPA.

How many of you would like to have your personal information up for grabs because you bought a coffee in some shop at what your government overlords will simply label the "wrong place at the wrong time"?  How many of you want to be taxed for your freedom for the CRIME OF SIMPLE PROXIMITY? How many of you with kids will look forward to the day when their college applications are denied because of their Internet browsing history is taken and run through a purity test?  How long before jackboots hold you down and decide to etch a barcode on your flesh?

Nearly everyone here was born into freedom. And look how much it's taken for granted. Maybe some of you will appreciate it more when it's taken from you, one step at a time.

It's inconvenient, but don't do your banking online.

So, according to you, the problem isn't forcefeeding American citizens into purity tests, like the National Guard here, it's that these people are refusing to time travel back into the Stone Age and ignore practical day to day modern life to avoid those purity tests in the first place.

That's your answer?

That's it? That's all you've got?

When the day comes when people are lined up against a wall for thought crimes, my prediction is that you'll blame those executed for not wrapping their mouths around a rifle barrel and save taxpayers the cost of those extra 4-5 bullets spent otherwise.

It would be easy for some to lay down Orange Man Bad for everything done on January 6th but the actual reality is never that simple.

However simple narratives that promote tribalism and removes context is the fastest way to dehumanize a group. It makes it easier to not hear their screams when they are being slaughtered for doing those horrible things like - Thinking differently. Using their voice in public. Sharing opinions. Embracing personal beliefs over raw peer pressure to simply conform.

Removing context is how you process cattle.

REMOVING CONTEXT IS HOW YOU PROCESS CATTLE.

I may regret engaging the nonsense, but the problem is people willfully agreeing to give up their privacy then turning around and pissing and moaning that they don't have their privacy anymore.  This particular thing has nothing to do with the government that I can see other than them asking for the data people have most likely given permission to these businesses to give.

These people incriminated themselves by using their personal CC’s to book flights, hotels, ATM machines.  The feds also got cell records.  Don’t forget there were a lot of people posting videos on social media and others were shown- a treasure trove of info.

Shocking that far-left liberal loons find free speech dangerous.  The true danger is censorship and not just from government but from their corporate monopoly minions.

If they feel like it's a violation of the RFPA (which by the way gives "some protection" to privacy....probably one of the easiest, most toothless pieces of legislation to get around but I see it used a lot) take them to court    If the court deems it a violation then pay them restitution, but good luck.  The wrong thing to do is here look at the actions, dislike them, and immediately assume BoA is overstepping.  That's likely not the case.  It's much more likely that these people have agreed to this stuff because they couldn't be bothered to read the fine print.

Of course, all of this comes as opinion from someone who spent 5-6 years dealing in authentication/authorization structuring for one of the largest banks in the world.  I did come from the technical side but we had to understand what the ToS were for our company so that our tools and monitoring complied with them as we collected data on customers.

Part of the reason I labeled the stuff by Carlson "nonsense" is because of the list of informational sources, the corporate piece is FAR down the list behind all the things you mention here.  On top of that, I'm willing to bet most (if not all) of those upset their info was given up signed off on their info being given up.

I don’t know why it was a story yesterday.  I heard about it a few days after Jan 6 that BoA was going to cooperate with the feds on CC records to help track people involved.

-So if a friend calls me on the phone to rob a bank for him courts should look at charging AT&T for the crime , not the dude who called me. Now I follow you.

-And and President Trump wasn’t there to practice free speech...it was a mission to overturn the legitimate  results of the election.

You appear to be running out of steam. Your replies are getting shorter and shorter as you've got nowhere to go now.

Speaking of nowhere to go, look at Nancy Pelosi, giving the thumbs up to the storming of another Capitol.

Leftist MSM? Pretends it never happened.

It's (D)ifferent.
Are you for or against storming capitols buildings? Is this all you have? Some lame MSM and whataboutisms?  I expect much more research with links and editorial about Jan 6th.

Do you stand with the rioters on Jan 6th? Should the FBI use every resource to track these criminals down? Were they just entering an unprotected building? Do you stand with Donald Trump and his misinformation? Were there more votes than voters in counties? Did he directly encourage the mob with his speech that day?
