Look at the 2nd question in the David Hyde interview...

This is the 2nd time in a week or so that I've heard this rumor surface -- curious what Viking fans would think of this deal

If it weren't for his poor decisions off-field, I'd LOVE it from the Dolphins' stand-point...

If I'm trying to rebuild the Dolphins, I'm asking, "Who would I rather have:

Jake Long and Jason Taylor

or

Bryant McKinnie and Vernon Gholston

?"

I hate to admit it (because of the off-field issues), but the answer is pretty easy for me [Gholston and McKinnie]..

A major reason the Chiefs aren't looking to pay Allen for a long term deal is his off-field issues. Doesn't McKinnie come with the same type of baggage? I can't see any deal like that happening.

I can see this deal making sense. Minny is sour on McKinnie adn needs DL. There have been some rumors about Long not wanting to go to Miami. Miami could then go in a different direction. Most of the time these rumors don't play out but it would not be a puzzling trade to me if it happened.
