Thought he was about to get Amtraked. Lucky that train was going so slow considering I just watched a news clip of how it could take a train a mile to come to a stop.Solid episode. RIP, Choo Choo.

well it has to be a major plot line later on ...i just hope the payoff is worth itBetter episode for sure - some pieces on the chess board finally moved.
Still way too much Ava - her story slows the show down to a crawl.
I'm having a tough time staying in this season. There are a few good scenes and characters (choo-choo and the Lost pilot killing people in a mineshaft, guy pulling bullet out of his shoulder), but I'm getting really bored of seeing Winona and Ava to really get into it. I feel like once the show starts to pick up momentum the writers decide to shove Ava (or now Winona) in there to slow things to a crawl.Another lack luster showing as the writers do their victory lap. Wynona and the kid story brought nothing to the show.
They did it again last night forcing Arlo into the show for no payoff.I'm having a tough time staying in this season. I haven't watched last night's episode yet, so I'm hoping its better than the previous two weeks.
Has to be in the top 5 lines from this show.''You ...shot me ...in the ...back ''
''If you wanted me to shoot you in the front ,you should have ran towards me ''
you have to figure the writers know everyone who watches this show is invested in Raylan. So they are tying up his loose ends (family issues) ,getting him involved in the whole baby thing, and building to a final showdown with BoydI think the writers are doing a slow burn leading up to a big payoff.
I like what's playing out in the background with Wynn Duffy, Mary Steenburgen and Sam Elliott. And ole Art doing his own poking around that whole back story.
I understand if you are basing it on the dialogue itself but as a marshal can you really shoot a guy in the back and get away with it? I doubt it.Has to be in the top 5 lines from this show.''You ...shot me ...in the ...back ''

Obviously it was justified.I think it depends upon whether sufficient legal reason for the shooting can be demonstrated...

I also don't know that you can get away with pounding a marshal in the face repeatedly and get away with it. I am referring to the season 2 scene when Raylan was punched multiple times in the face by that large hump in the general store. The Dude said:I understand if you are basing it on the dialogue itself but as a marshal can you really shoot a guy in the back and get away with it? Different altogether. Raylan agreed to that fightI also don't know that you can get away with pounding a marshal in the face repeatedly and get away with it. They certainly drove home that he's accurate and fast. Watch out Raylan!BustedKnuckles said:what i can see is a bonafide gunfight ok corral style coming between Raylan and the new gunslingerRaider Nation said:Couldn't see that gun in the purse coming!

i think you forgot the David Caruso-CSI meme link.Obviously it was justified.I think it depends upon whether sufficient legal reason for the shooting can be demonstrated...
Not liking this season as much as the others. Not enough Raylan-Boyd interactions. Haven't watched last night's episode, but there doesn't seem to be much spoilers in there.
So, who thinks Raylan dies at the end of this season? They've foreshadowed it a bit.

Oh, okay. Kind of ridiculous. He/she mentions other people by their character's name and mentions another person by real name. Consistency, people, so we don't have to play games trying to figure out what you are trying to say.Sam Elliot Out Of Town Clan?Seeotc?![]()

I can see where they spin this with Boyd protecting Raylan in a gun fight against the Sam Elliott out of towners crew and with Boyd getting killed in the process. Then Raylan just cleans up with wiping out the SEOOTC emptying a couple pistols into them.

Fariq got the acronym wrong. It's correct in the post to which he was referring. What letter does "out" start with?Believe it or not, that was purely a guess. Then I went back to read the post in question. "Clan" was the only word I guessed wrong.Raider Nation said:no ####ing way
This goes directly against the "Raylan always gets his man" theme that has been consistent throughout the series.Raylan and Boyd have not always been portrayed with this much friction - although fair to say it's escalated with the Ava situation.
I actually think Boyd may save Raylan in some fashion and Raylan walks off without closing the case on Boyd (or even helps Boyd avoid jail).
