I like how everyone pretty much has skin in the game. Wynn's life certainly got more complicated. If the money doesn't move, Boyd knows Wynn set him up.

This whole series started with the Ava, Rayland and Boyd triangle, I think it ends there too. I am not unconvinced that she doesn't shoot the both of them and skips town.

Raylan and Boyd have not always been portrayed with this much friction - although fair to say it's escalated with the Ava situation.

I actually think Boyd may save Raylan in some fashion and Raylan walks off without closing the case on Boyd (or even helps Boyd avoid jail).
This goes directly against the "Raylan always gets his man" theme that has been consistent throughout the series.
That's why it works

Better than most episodes this season.

Zach's plan was a little to stupid to kill Boyd - had to be less complicated opportunities than that
Speaking of complicated, why didn't Boyd have Carl cut the fuse instead of asking him for the rock hammer? :loco:

wasnt the fuse going ^^ up ^^ and out of reach?
And Carl is like 5' tall.
There was scaffolding for him to climb up on.

We should start a pool....who lives through Justified finale. At this point all the major characters seem to have a gun pointed at them from somewhere.

Just as Raylan & Boyd are about to shoot at each other, Ava, who is torn between the two, attempts to intervene. Unfortunately, they both fire as Ava jumps between them, killing her instantly.

Stricken by their evil deed, Raylan & Boyd both turn their guns on themselves, assuring that the ending to the series is even worse than the rotten finale of Dexter.

I was thinking who lives outta the main characters. I can see arguments for Rachel, Rayland, Boyd, Ava, Wynn, Kathryn, Markum meeting their maker before the show is over. I figure Art is safe. It just kinda depends on how they write it at this point.

Heh. I don't Ava is torn between the two so much as she is trying to figure out a way to wiggle outta the vice. i could see her saying f-it and shooting them both in last ditch effort to break out of it.

Actually, I think Raylan & Ava will survive; not sure about Boyd, but he'll either be killed or hauled off to jail...probably the former, if I had to guess.

Raylan will resign & head to Florida to help raise his daughter.

Ride of into the sunset

The show is a shadow of it's prime.

Boyd was great tv in season 3 - when the one thug told him he would have to download google translate to understand Boyd

Boyd's dialogue has completely changed - it's like two different characters.

Pretty disappointing to see that Raylan couldn't shoot to wound Ava or, oh, I don't know, shoot out the tire or something. It's not like his shooting prowess hasn't been on display throughout the history of the show or anything.

it would have been bad ### if ava had killed boyd and raylon had shot and killed ava, but that would be too tidy. rayon takes a bag of money and rides off into the sunset, well florida. oh well

Shooting out the tire would still leave their showdown. He could have shot her, but he still kind of likes her and knows she won't get away, so he'd rather try to catch her in a better spot then have the showdown. You'd rather not shoot your high school girlfriend if there's another option.

We get it, you are one of the few people who can't appreciate the best show currently airing on TV. Go watch The Walking Dead or something.

I'm glad to hear someone else say this, I thought it was just me. I used to laugh out loud 2-3 times an episode just with how Boyd would turn a phrase. Now it never happens. Same with Art, and even Raylan to a lesser degree.

Easily best episode of the season.

Don't like Ava as the big bad. The herd needs to be thinned (Markham, Boone, Ava, her uncle, Boyd).

Ok , just got the time to watch. That was a whole lotta fun. Carl had to go, he was total red-shirt. Mikey was a tough sob with a two cent head. I was not expecting Catherine to die there, but wasn't shocked that it was Micheal's time. Kinda glad Wynn made it out. He's a bad guy but I like the character too much to want to see him punch out. Case in point, his call to 911 was a classic. "Not sure where to start..." HA! So many great lines through out.

Boon is a goner, Markam too. I think Eva ends back in prison. Looks like they are setting it up so Rayland walks away sans job by the end. I think Tim lives, but unsure about Rachel. Earl and uncle (not going to try to spell it) are throwaways. Could see them living or dying either way. Kinda hoping DA dude loses his job.

Wynn Duffy laying around wearing his thong in a tanning bed cracks me up.

This little side kick to Sam Elliot is disturbingly good.

I like when Raylan gets in the face of one of these idiots and calls them a "dumb###".

Yep. At first I  but I've done a complete 180.

latest guess - Raylan kills Boone - but not before Boone puts a bullet in Raylan - and leaves Raylan contemplating fatherhood - and he walk off without getting Boyd.

Usually my views vary from this group but are more aligned to the critics - but the IGN guy is loving last night (10 on a 10 scale).
