Just watched the last 4 eps today. Season 1 had a few lull episodes in the middle but it ended strong.

quote??Abraham said:I liked last night. They have changed the tone of the show. Last year, many of the early episodes revolved around a single "Case" and didn't spend much time on the characters and the ongoing story between them. Last night showed (to me at least) that they are going to be spending more time on the overarching storylines, which is fine by me.
Eva is quote, but the ex-wife is smoking.
You didn't like Seth Bullock?Statorama said:Not a big Olyphant fan, but I saw my first episode of this last night and he just might change my mind.Really liked what I saw last night, and I'll probably run a marathon of season one this weekend.ETA: Good to see "Faraday" from 'Lost' get some work.
I think that was pretty much it. Afterwards Raylan was back at his hotel, his ex-wife came by and they made whoopie. Post coitus he received a call from that state trooper who said they had a lead on Boyd, then it showed Boyd working in a mine (at least I think that's what he was doing). Couldn't tell if what they were really trying to say about Boyd, I guess that he's going to try and make it seem like he's going straight by taking his old job or something. The trailer after the episode gave the impression that the Bennett's will be the main antagonists this season. How did it end last night? DVR cut out when the girls dad was dying at the dinner table.
I watched the first episode. I wasn't impressed. Going to watch the whole first season and hope it gets better. Same with Spartacus. Wasn't digging that one either. I will watch the whole first season though. I think Breaking Bad spoiled me.ETAAfter a few episodes Justified is starting to grow on me. Looking forward to the rest. Spartacus? Not so much.Watched it last night and thought it was fantastic. It's not Deadwood (my favorite TV show in modern memory), but it was a smartly written, powerful drama that got to showcase the same intensity Olyphant displayed as Sheriff Bullock.
This show is awesome. Most of this season has been very good. This money deal is bothering me though. I really like the Raylan character.Best episode yet.![]()
Yeah that was phenomenal. Really good season, this week's episode should be awesome.Best episode yet.![]()
The best show on television IMOMan this show is terrific and I get the feeling no one is watching it ala Terriers. Another great episode last night.

I'm going with Gary and that Winona was the actual target.so, for the people still following along, who do you think was responsible for the attempted snuff out lastweek?
based on the description on my dvr this appears to be correct.I'm going with Gary and that Winona was the actual target.so, for the people still following along, who do you think was responsible for the attempted snuff out lastweek?
Yeah, just saw the summary of tonight's episode. Watched last week's for the first time a couple hours ago. Looking back it seems to fit together. They were tailing Raylan and Winona to her lawyer's office, and once they were shooting it out it looked like the second guy wasn't even looking for Raylan but just targeting Winona. Figures Gary would be behind that.I'm actually more interested at this point with what's going to happen with Boyd and Dickie. It's kind of nice to see Boyd getting back to being the character from last season.based on the description on my dvr this appears to be correct.I'm going with Gary and that Winona was the actual target.so, for the people still following along, who do you think was responsible for the attempted snuff out lastweek?
No, no he is not. Should be a pretty good finish to the season. Most probably know the series is based on "Fire in the Hole," a short-story by Elmore Leonard. The Raylan character first appeared in two other novels. The first is called "Pronto," the second, "Riding the Rap." All three are very much worth a read if you're a fan of the show. You'll recognize quite a few scenes and even a couple of characters. I got them off of Amazon for pennies. Good, quick, entertaining reads.Raylan is not gonna be happy.
Boyd wanted to wait for Dickie's reaction to see if Momma was backing him. I guess he got his answer.'boilerdave said:Raylan is not gonna be happy.
No, that originally aired on the 20th.I have been behind, is the latest episode:
Where Dickie seems to shoot Helen?
That is the most current up until last nights. I haven't watched last nights yetI have been behind, is the latest episode:

Do you mean why didn't Raylen kill him?I thought that made sense. I couldn't see Raylen executing a handcuffed man, especially when he had a guy will to testify against him.Why the #### does he just Dickie go outright? I hate lame inconsistencies.
It's gonna get bloody in Harlan county.Do you mean why didn't Raylen kill him?I thought that made sense. I couldn't see Raylen executing a handcuffed man, especially when he had a guy will to testify against him.Why the #### does he just Dickie go outright? I hate lame inconsistencies.
Maybe raylon hauls him in, but I got the impression he just left him out there, which is not consistent.Do you mean why didn't Raylen kill him?I thought that made sense. He was going to kill him but then his conscience got the better of him and he just took him in. That's why they had the whole scene with the other guy recanting and confessing to the crime - to get Dickie out of jail.Maybe raylon hauls him in, but I got the impression he just left him out there, which is not consistent.Do you mean why didn't Raylen kill him?I thought that made sense. I get that, it was only shown/implied in the preview of next week. All we saw was raylon whack him and walk away. What the hell, I didn't know this was the second season. Completely missed the first. Now I have a full season of "new" episodes to catch up onI really like how they have basically given up having a story in each show to go along with the wide-plot. Like last season when he was chasing Cameron Frye through the desert. This season has been much better, deeper, darker, etc. All the things that make FX shows good.
If there was every a TMI quote this one has to rank in the top 5.Just caught up, season has been fantastic so far, explain the old lady visitor and what Mags signed off on to me?This show has me by the nuts and isn't letting go.
I don't know how any viewer would really know yet. My guess is one of 2 things (sure to be wrong):If there was every a TMI quote this one has to rank in the top 5.Just caught up, season has been fantastic so far, explain the old lady visitor and what Mags signed off on to me?This show has me by the nuts and isn't letting go.
Love him. The limp is a bit muchBtw, what do you guys think of Jeremy Davies playing Dickie?Sometimes, I have a hard time buying it and find it a bit annoying. Other times, I think he's brilliant. I can't really decide.
