Natalie Zea is pushing for a spot in my TopFive.
so hot
For Showtime subscribers and Natalie fans, be sure to check out upcoming episodes of "Californication".She's Hank's jilted, crazy ex-GF. Boobies could be forthcoming.

Actually, Hank was banging new "Justified" cast member, Carla Cugino, last season. I think Raylan's probably going to end up banging her too. Hank and Raylan are about to have a little cross-show lady-swap thing going on.

Californication isn't great, but I can't stop watching it. Her yelling at him in a full restaurant "I let you #### me in the ### and you're breaking up with me?" was pretty funny though.

Great season so far.

I really like Limehouse. He's great character and it just makes sense for a show set in the rural South to finally have a black man and his BBQ shack. With all that's going on, I hope they really dig into the Limehouse and The Holler story lines.

Replacing Mags Bennett is impossible, but they are doing an admirable job with Limehouse and the freaky dude from Detroit.

On a sad note, are we going to see Winona phased out?

I hate it, but it's probably necessary. Kind of like in "24", Jack/Raylan can't do the viewers happy and keep a woman happy. The Glencoe thing obviously can't happen.

Bumping this up again for the best show on TV no one is watching AGAIN on FX
It's good but it could be better. Things seems to get wrapped up rather quickly each week. Within 70 minutes of show time over the last two episodes Raylan gets set up for a murder beef and corruption charges but is essentially cleared. Things are supposed to move at a more leisurely pace in the South.

I was actually kinda glad they wrapped up the two Raylan investigations last night. Wasn't looking forward to those carrying over. Looks like Zea is pretty much out of the show now. I like her character but I could see how it would be tough to come up with reasons for her to be around. I wonder if Cugino will make another appearance.

I agree with all that. This season does feel like it's missing a little something though. Maybe we just got spoiled with the Bennett's. Maybe it's just that Quarles just doesn't do much for me. Good season, but not as good as last season yet.I never understood the subtitle either.

Love the show, the exchange Raylan had with Duffy at the end of the episode was great. Don't have the quotes but if you saw it, I'm sure you know what I am talking about. Bent over, teaser pony, paint the room a different color.

Love Olyphant's character.

Quarles and Limehouse are awesome. They aren't as good as Mags but they are a great 1-2 punch.

I really like Limehouse. I'm not sure what it is I don't like about Quarles.

So a little confused. What was the gun she found in her house?
The murder weapon that Quarles used to kill her ex-husband.
See that didn't make sense. He used a silenced pistol and then they all left. So they came back later to plant it.Just didn't feel like that part flowed well
I agree. Why would you hide the gun inside the house?
My guess is they were going to plant it in the car but got "caught" so they had to think "quickly" to another place. Still didn't think it lined up great. Just nitpicking really

I think it was all part of thrown together, somewhat poorly done episode. I can see why Quarles would hide it in the house. Not sure why he'd leave and then come back to do it. The other option is that it wasn't really the murder weapon (but I don't know what that would make it). We still don't know what the "fooling around with Raylan's trunk" thing was all about. I'm not sure how the cops would've missed it though.

Ah, I didn't think about that. I'm sold.

Sure Quarles would do it, but why would anyone believe Raylin would be that stupid to just hide the murder weapon in the house.

I'm just a huge fan of the Raylin character, Olyphant nails it ever week.

I wish I could change the thread title, wonder if any mod's watch this show and could help a brother out?

Have you read any of Elmore Leonard's novels?Riding the Rap was always one of my favorites. I agree that Olyphant nails the Raylan character.

They wanted to plant the gun in Raylan's car and get busted trying to do it, so did went with plan B, which was Winona's house. I thought that was pretty obvious. And I thought it was a great episode. The best of the season so far. And those who say something is missing this season...it might be the funny. The comedy has been toned down a bit.

The Duffy/Raylan scenes are the best thing on the show. I imagine they're the most fun to write and act, too.

You're giving too much credit to cops and DAs. DAs tend not to care so much about things like that. They only care if there is enough evidence to convict. A murder weapon in somebody's home, or in the home where they were staying, is pretty open and shut, regardless of what actually is going on. The corruption charge in tandem with it was only going to further any suspicions about him. He was already the primary suspect...put a murder weapon in his house and everybody's going home happy. Doesn't mean he'd have been convicted, but he'd have definitely been charged.

This season has definitely been plenty funny in my opinion. Tim and Art provide some nice comic relief and the Dewey Crow episode was hilarious. "It’s best you not blaspheme in here, Raylan. Apparently the owner takes that real serious…"

I didn't say it hasn't had any humor, just less than previously and very little of it coming from Raylan. This season is darker. He's not a happy man, and they're not making him miserable guy who can laugh about it anymore. He's just miserable. I'd call Tim and Art levity, not humor. Humor is Duffy's obsession with womens tennis.

They've done a nice job ramping up the suspense with Quarles' "Taxi Driver" guns. I don't think he's used them yet, but in every scene he was in last night it felt like he was a second away from sliding them out and going Deniro.

Loved the scene with Raylan and Quarles in the bar.

Every scene together is straight poetry. Very Very well acted

no comments on the last episode? I think Bobby Quarles is a great character: kind of a dainty fellow, addictive personality who's always either drinking or popping pills, has what seems like a normal family back home (based on phone calls), doesn't seem to really have any friends because everyone either dislikes or is afraid of him, does unspeakable (and un-showable) things to young bound men, quick temper and won't hesitate to throw down at a moment's notice. oh, and apparently his boss wants him dead now. and Neal McDonough is a good enough actor to really hit all of the disparate angles of his personality. I'll be sad when he's inevitably killed off.

this show is full of SO many good characters, and now it looks like they're bringing in Adam Arkin as a set up for next season.

Yeah, Quarles has really grown on me. Didn't like him at first, but he's become a fantastic character.

I hope the fat dude from Memphis sticks around. I liked him in the episode he was in earlier this season.

I miss Natalie Zea, although ho-bag Raylan is probably good for the show. For a little while.

This season has been excellent, but my pants are seriously missing Natalie Zea. :(
She was a horrible character. Don't know if it was written that way or she isn't much of an actress but she always came across as a totally entitled narcisist, and didn't like the first half of this season as much due to the drama around her. Was glad when it looked like she'd gone for good.It takes some work to make me hate a character that good looking but mission accomplished on this one.Quarles and Duffy are both great characters and the season should finish out strong. Like Boyd too, and would like to see Limehouse really go up against somebody too.

Great episode last night.

The plot is a bit too "convenient" on this show (and this season, quite chaotic), but the acting and dialogue are top notch, imo.

Chris Ryan wrote a nice summary of the episode and, I think, summed up the shortcomings of this season very well:

http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollywood-prospectus/post/_/id/47083/everything-that-rises-must-converge-justified-season-3-episode-12

"And maybe more in light of the majesty of Season 2 that a lot of this season's proceedings felt a bit light. The second season season felt like the fight for the soul of Harlan, the fight to not be your father, the fight for your future against the pull of your past. This just feels like a bunch of entertaining people chasing some MacGuffin bag of money. At one point, Limehouse, Greek chorus-like, intones, "It's funny how that money brought together all those wayward personalities." What was a wild goose chase for the characters, also felt that way for this viewer.

Which isn't to say it's not a wildly entertaining goose chase."

I'll have to disagree with Ryan on one thing. The Raylan line was the best of the night. "You should stick with it. They pull back the curtain and it turns out the guy's kind of a #####" :lmao:

Please explain the What Party line?I hope Tom makes it :(
Ever walked in on what is supposed to be a killer house party only to find three dudes standing around with plastic cups full of flat beer in their hands, not a girl in sight, and Tone Loc's "Funky Cold Medina" playing on a 1982 boom box sitting on a three legged chair in the corner of the room??? "What party",,,,

I enjoyed this season quite a bit - little bit less than last season.

The Quarles-Raylan face off should have been more climactic.

I hope Duffy stays around for next year - "big baby head" was pretty funny

I like Arlo but his story wasn't going anywhere

I would like to see the two other deputies get a little more air time.

Good episode, not exactly a killer finale though. The Quarles ending was decent. They are setting this all up for

Raylan having to take down Arlo at some point. Arlo pretty much said Boyd was the son he never had last night in his confession and Raylan's line at the end solidified it for me
