Kansas City Chiefs at Miami Dolphins (2 Viewers)

Say heres a little something that might could have happened- whens the last time 2 backs from the same team have gone over 100 yards. Wont happen tonight but is a  testament to that Chiefs running game. Also, whens the last time a game featured 3 100 yard rushers. Very close to that happening tonight.
Last week?Morris/SA

Make note to self: never ever play someone name Gus? Thanks Bulger for getting hurt last week. :ptts:

Entertainment on a Friday night:

Having Priest and Chambers, and going up against LJ and Gonzo, and hoping that both teams keep scoring!!!
Perfect night, and a couple extra days to prepare for the Chargers!!!

Good eye, totally missed that one  What about 3 in a game- rushing that is

NFL Sunday ticket?
It's not sunday - that's the problem. that's why we are all here and not in front of TVs.
I think that's a crap rule. I and whoever else has ordered the games paid good cash and I feel a bit jipped actually. I mean, if it were on somewhere else I wouldn't care so much but whatever lame excuse it is about not getting it on TV is just that, lame.
it's not DirecTV's call.
Ok, why not. I mean, it's their call on Sunday, I'm not sure what's the big deal? Somehow they had rights to the game and it's obvious they lost the rights. For whatever reason, I think there's a flaw in whatever contract they have.
go read the other threads - there's a TON of info - it is a contractual thing and it has to do with College and high school football.
Thanks for the offer, but I can already tell it's B.S. That argument is what I said, lame. So I guess NBA basketball, hockey, baseball etc... won't be on Friday nights either I suppose
It is a rule. Live with it.Next year or the year after the NFL will be nat'l broadcast on Thurs., Sat, Sun amd Mon nights.
Sure it's a rule, but arguing rules is how they get changed.......which leads into your next topic. I notice that they don't mess with Friday's, I hope it's not because of that high school thing, that is just ridiculous. Next, they'll say it can't be on Sunday's at 1 PM Eastern because people on the West Coast won't go to church if it's on. Give me a break, people have choices, put the freaken game on TV!
High School FB is precisely the reason. it begins and ends there. same thing with saturdays and college ball in the fall.

I just wanna know why those know it all FBG staffers didn't tell me to start Rosenfels over Frerotte. I mean, my god, didn't they know that I'm in a league that gives bonus points for 50+ yard TDs on a QB's only completion of the game? :hot:

Surprisingly, the Falcons have never come close in the few years Vick has been around. Usually when he has a big game Dunn and Duckett stink, and never do they both play even moderately well. (With respect to rushing yards. I don't think all three have ever even had 50 rushing yards in a game.)

Thank you Mr. Freaking Chambers.   :pickle:     :hifive:     :IBTL:   :moneybag:   :towelwave:

For some reason I don't think The Fanatic will feel as happy as I do.
Periodically checking in on the game and Chambers sucking. :X I check my live scoring on Fanball and 3/167 and TWO 78 yard scores!

Figured it had to be a mistake, but at least he did something. :excited:

Incredible. Spend almost the whole game cussin' Chambers then BAM he bails me out! Willie

The high school thing is a joke. They let them put the NFL on Thanksgiving and there are high school games in parts of the country that day. They let the NFL telecast when bowl games are on, so the college thing doesn't fly either.Watch out, NOW will protest and they won't be able to telecast games when reruns of Oprah and soap operas are on.

This entire game will be re-aired Sunday night at 8 pm eastern on the NFL Network.
Cool. There can be another thread on it Sunday night , with all the same arguments all over again. And a couple heavy drinkers who don't know it was played on Friday night. ;)

Thanks  for the reminder. My opponent this week is starting Edge & Rhodesdue to bye's and injuries. He also has JJ Arrington but won't play him :(

I hope the Texans got a good ### chewing and come out inspired on Sunday.
