I was watching the game in the other room and came out to the Living Room where my Daughter and wife were watching it just as Harvey said "Well, actually, Columbia is the 1st runner up" The look on the contestants face alone should tell you it wasn't fake.. They were in complete shock..

Philippines had no idea WTF to do .. Miss USA basically had to push her down to the front and Columbia is standing there trying to figure out WTF just happened.
