Movies you will watch over again and again (1 Viewer)

Overboard(original)

seems like old times

Casino and goodfellas

Shawshank

Hudsucker Proxy

Airplane / Naked Gun

Raiders Of the lost ark

just a few..I love rewatching movies..drives my wife crazy

A more recent film I have re-watched multiple times because it keeps popping up on cable is A Simple Favor. It may not be the most macho movie ever made, but something about it hooks me and keeps me watching it. I like Blake Lively's character . . . dark and twisted with an attitude seems to always work for me.

Speaking of not-macho movies that you can rewatch, I'll add My Best Friend's Wedding.

Re: Raising Arizona

This is one of my favorite exchanges of dialog in any movie ever...

Parole Board chairman: They've got a name for people like you H.I. That name is called "recidivism."

Parole Board member: Repeat offender!

Parole Board chairman: Not a pretty name, is it H.I.?

H.I.: No, sir. That's one bonehead name, but that ain't me any more.

Parole Board chairman: You're not just telling us what we want to hear?

H.I.: No, sir, no way.

Parole Board member: 'Cause we just want to hear the truth.

H.I.: Well, then I guess I AM telling you what you want to hear.

Parole Board chairman: Boy, didn't we just tell you not to do that?

H.I.: Yes, sir.

Parole Board chairman: Okay, then.

There's a bunch I'll stop a while for but the two that I just can't get away from are The Hunt for Red October and A Few Good Men.

My kids (14 and 12) can even quote them at this point.

Empire

My Cousin Vinnie

Roadhouse

Deer Hunter

A Clockwork Orange

Office Space

The Big Lebowski

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Burn After Reading

Spinal Tap

Best in Show

Four Weddings and a Funeral
