Well, I'm actually quite pleased to have gotten someone here - Kanter's defense is an issue, but moreso in real life than SIM by a good margin (actually was like 36 last year, KAT was only a 41 or so).  Crowded front court with the Knicks, but even if he gets 20-22 minutes, should have some nice really efficeint offense, and excellent if not elite rebounding.  Maybe he even gets eligibility at SF, which would rock... was a 93 there, last year.

The fact is, big men and points are key (IMO) and especially with the former, just not that many 30+ MPG guys out there.  Plus, gotta love the guys passion and perspective on life, kinda feel like he's someone you want to root for as opposed to my man Dwight Ho. Though obviously the latter is a ton better.

I paid $13 for Kanter last year. IMO he benefits more from WIS flaws than any other current player. His strengths (efficient interior scoring and high-end rebounding) are things the sim loves and his weaknesses (doesn't defend, can't stretch the floor) don't hurt that much.

Yeah, you have to build a certain type of team around him. Basically the Larry Brown 76ers with DeRozan in the Iverson role. If you put other high-usage guys with him he'll just steal their shots.

I sort of question how much he'll actually play though.  There's going to be a huge minutes crunch in their PF/C rotation.

You should be fine tonight since the draft doesn't officially start until tomorrow.  In the future, you can always PM a list of players for your pick(s) to another draft.  I'm on the opposite end of the draft, so you can alway send it to me.  I'm usually around.

Maybe it's a sign of good luck. I lost my $22 point guard last year for about the same before we even finished the auction. Between that and me not knowing #### last year, I thought it was doom, and he has far more balance than did I.

He'll almost certainly be SF eligible in the SIM.  He was eligible at SG, SF, PF last year.

Go to WIS => SIM League Basketball => Draft a team => sign up, you don't have to pay at this point => Draft center => [click to draft], then it brings you up to a search filter.
