NBA BTTF VI Draft - DONE! Regular Season OVAH. Commence trade talk and six month wait for WIS rosters (2 Viewers)

9.23 Kenneth Faried, PF Nuggets

Denver doesn't have any other PF's on the roster, so he should be in line for a ton of minutes.

it would have been bad enough to not time out and get sniped on Swanigan, but for Stanley Johnson to then go after I time out....I literally picked and then headed out the door to play golf.  come back from golf, check in immediately to see we've rolled all the way back around and past me.  I don't mind getting skipped on later rounds but at this point, there is PLENTY OF TALENT AVAILABLE.  this is where championships are made but on the other hand, the days I have left to golf are dwindling fast.  what's a guy to do?
Focus on what is important in life. Golf can wait until next week.

That was the only other guy I was considering with my last pick. He crushes the boards but I think he needs to get traded to have any value. It's looking very possible, if not likely, he is going to be the 5th big at best. I would have preferred him to be the backup center and for them to have not signed Plumlee, but the Nuggets are dumb.

Was hoping the animosity would have him slip another round.

I agree with the others, best shot is to get traded.

I was considering Faried too, but it doesn't look like he has much of a chance with the Nuggets and I'm not in position to gamble that hard in round 9. Would've gone for it next round though for sure. If he were to start somewhere (very unlikely) he'd be a top 50 WIS player.

9.20 - Mike Muscular, ATL

seems a chance for 20 minutes is there and his D rating has been over 50.  per 36 seems functional and he can hit a 3.  ATL not exactly loaded at the 4/5.
16th Rounder last year. And yes, can stroke the three for a defensively minded big man.

Go ahead, just unpack those euphemisms.

I think he was the highest $/min player left by a long shot. I don't think he will or should start for anybody because of his defensive limitations, but I could see him being a third big in a three big rotation for a team that doesn't mind playing small and running. Unfortunately, the best opportunity for that should be Denver behind Millsap and Jokic, but management disagrees strongly. I could see it in Memphis behind Green and Gasol or Washington behind Morris and Gortat. Not sure I could find a decent trade for either of those teams and it doesn't make sense for a lottery team like Atlanta to trade for him.

Yo Mama's Team

PG - Dennis Smith Jr, Cory Joseph

SG - Avery Bradley, Victor Oladipo

SF - Paul Milsap, Terrence Ross

PF - Kristaps Porzingis, Lauri Markkanen

C - Robin Lopez, Richaun Holmes

10.07 JR Smith GF CLE

He had some serious personal stuff going on last year and was injured on top of that. I was much higher on him when I assumed he would start over Wade, but I still think he is in line for a big bounce back season.
